Here’s What to Buy at Costco in February

January is over (finally). February is here. That means that love is in the air and spring is around the corner. And of course, a new month means it’s time to see what’s new and exciting at Costco. As one would expect, there are a few heart-shaped foods, along with a familiar Sporked favorite (see #4), a personal favorite of my own, and a few surprises to boot. I won’t keep you in suspense any longer—let’s dig into what to buy at Costco this month!

Nuovo Pasta Italian Four Cheese Heart Shaped Ravioli

According to Hallmark and all the candy companies, it is the month of love, so of course heart-shaped products are on shelves. And truly, there’s no better way to say you love your special someone than by bringing home two pounds of heart-shaped ravioli. I mean, it’d work on me. Then again, what wouldn’t at this point? Either way, this is a simple and effective way to make an effortless dinner at home for Valentine’s Day when you forgot to snag a reservation in time. Great save, Costco!

Churn Butter 2-Pack

I haven’t been this excited about a Costco find in a while! And that’s saying something, because I get pretty dang excited to find the $1.50 hot dog combo in my hands every time I go there. Churn butter is good. Like, fancy-L.A.-grocery-store-Erewhon good. And if it’s good enough for them, it’s a beauty of a Costco fine. This pack at Costco comes with two tubs of Churn butter in two flavors: Cacio e Pepe and Bruschetta. Just the thing for our Valentine’s Day ravioli—how convenient!

Unreal Dark Chocolate Snacks Variety Pack

What would Valentine’s Day be without chocolate?! Ditch those heart-shaped boxes of chocolate for something that’s practical and will actually taste good. UNREAL makes dark chocolate versions of your favorite chocolate candies, including Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, and chocolate-covered peanuts. You’ll earn a ton of brownie points if you bring these back from your next Costco trip.

Grillo’s Pickles Classic Dill Spears

Grillo’s Sporked-approved dill pickle spears on the shelves of Costco—who woulda thunk! As much as I love to try new things at Costco, it’s also nice to find a product we already know is worth buying. As Sporked taste-tester Jordan Myrick put it, these pickled spears “give you a sour vinegar kick while maintaining a light, cucumbery flavor and classic cucumbery crunch.” Your sandwiches will thank you for buying a tub of these.

Soban Ramen Crunch

Every school had that one weird kid who ate raw ramen noodles. Well, now you can add ramen that was actually made to be eaten right out of the pack to your Costco haul. I have faith this will be a little more satisfying and a little less worrisome for parents who fear their kiddo will come home with a chipped tooth from eating raw ramen.

Sencha Naturals Oat Milk Blueberry Matcha Latte

Not everyone has the privilege, or the budget, to walk to a cafe down the block and get an Instagram-worthy matcha latte. Costco is picking up the slack. Whether you want it served hot or cold, this powdery mix is ready to be whipped up to give you a kick in the right direction when you’d rather slip back into bed.
