This week really showcases what Aldi has been doing well as of late. While they are a great budget grocery store to get your staples from, they’re really killing it in the prepared foods category. It actually feels exciting to walk into Aldi to see what they’ve come up with. This week is very much the case. Let’s get into the new creations Aldi’s putting out on shelves this week.

Fusia Asian Inspirations Traditional or Tuna Mayo with Perilla Leaf Kimbap ($3.49; 7/15)
It’s really hard to pass up a kimbap that you can get for $3.49. Aldi’s bringing two new flavors to their kimbaps of recent with a traditional flavor that finds Korean-style imitation crab meeting eggs, carrots, spinach, and pickled daikon in an expected seaweed rice roll. Then comes the more exciting tuna mayo and perilla leaf variety which comes in the same seaweed rice roll. They’re so cheap that we might as well grab both to give them a try.
Simply Nature Organic Dubai Chocolate Flavored Creamer ($4.99; 7/15)
Dubai chocolate this, Dubai chocolate that! The fad is far from over and Aldi is only here to reinforce that. This month, they’re bringing Dubai chocolate flavored creamer to their refrigerators. Splash this into your coffee for a delightful start to the morning or a cheeky little addition to the boring coffee they’re brewing up in the break room.
ALDI Smoothie Protein Bowls ($6.59; 7/15)
A frozen smoothie protein bowl can fill a lot of different facets. Start your morning with it, have it as a guilt-free snack, or even stretch it out into a lunch. This month Aldi is releasing two new smoothie protein bowls that’ll come in flavor combos of banana and almond butter or acai and peanut butter. Respectively, they’ll also have blueberries and granola or strawberries, granola, and dark chocolate mixed in.
Benton’s Orange Creamsicle Sandwich Cookies ($2.99; 7/15)
A summertime classic now in cookie form. Aldi is adding an orange Creamsicle cookie sandwich to their noteworthy lineup of store branded cookies. While these certainly won’t be as refreshing as the original popsicle, they won’t melt in the sun which is a real win in these hot temps.
Mama Cozzi’s Hawiian Style Chicken or Burrata Pesto Pizza ($5.99; 7/15)
I really appreciate how much variety Aldi puts out with just their Mama Cozzi’s pizzas alone. This week brings new Hawaiian style chicken and burrata pesto pizzas to the rotation. If you’re grabbing the Hawaiian style chicken pizza you’ll get a pizza that’s topped with chicken, mozzarella cheese, pineapple, green peppers, and huli-huli sauce. The burrata pesto comes topped with, well obviously, pesto sauce and creamy burrata in addition to corn, tomatoes, and bacon.
