It always seems like new, exciting items come to the Costco bakery in batches. This week, we’re blessed with such an event. While I love a one-off product coming to the Costco bakery it’s nice to see the two things we’ve gotten this week. Costco decided to spice up two products they’re known for: their bagels and their bar cakes. To finish off the lineup, we’re also getting an inspiring breakfast option, and a few crafty ways to get more fruit into our diet. A thing we could all use.

Kirkland Signature Pretzel Bagels
Pretzel bagels! What a novelty. Costco recently changed the way they sell their bagels and they seem to be celebrating the good news by releasing an incredibly unexpected but certainly welcomed bagel to their lineup. There’s so much to do with these Costco pretzel bagels. You can toast them and add a little cinnamon sugar butter for a movie theater experience. You could also make your own pizza pretzel bagels, which would slap. Then there’s a whole world of sandwiches to be crafted. Really, there’s no wrong way to eat these new bagels.
Kirkland Signature Waffle Cone Bar Cake
Well, egg on my face. I put together a whole release schedule for the bar cakes at Costco. Then they went and did this to me. They added a whole new bar cake to the lineup! I’m not complaining. A waffle cone bar cake sounds absolutely bonkers and I’m here for it. Just in time for summer (the season of the waffle cone), this cake features layered sponge cake with waffle cone-inspired flavors throughout. That’s all finished with a creamy frosting and waffle cone pieces or crumble for texture. Bring this to any backyard BBQ you go to.
Sweet Craft Dolceria Key Lime Pie
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. My favorite place in Costco is the deli section solely because of these little desserts. I love seeing what new dessert they’re able to put into a single serving. I’m also a new convert to the beloved key lime pie. Do we think Sweet Craft made these just for me? I like to believe so. If you’re looking for an easy dessert to pop out of the fridge and eat the entirety of in one sitting, these are the pick for you.
Seven Sundays Wildberry Protein Oats
I say this as someone who has turned into a regular eater of oatmeal: oatmeal can be so boring. It’s just not that exciting to cook up a bowl of plain oats and mix in some brown sugar. I really see the appeal of this oat mix from Seven Sundays. Your boring oatmeal turns into a wondrous blend of flax and chia seeds, bunches of blueberries, cherries, and cranberries―all with maple syrup added in for a bit of sweetness. You’ll actually be excited to eat your oats in the morning!
Solely Organic Fruit Jerky Variety Pack
I am Sisyphus and my boulder is my daily attempt to get enough fruit into my diet. Having convenient and appetizing options around the house like Solely’s new fruit jerky variety pack with mango & raspberry and mango & blueberry fruit jerky can help keep things exciting. Costco’s helping the cause by stocking this berry-powered variety pack with 16 servings, so one box will keep you fed for a while.
