If the new releases for the week are anything to go off of, Aldi is in a breakfast-heavy time in their life. As a breakfast connoisseur, I am happy to hear it. There is one item though that’s also coming out this week that doesn’t meet the breakfast theme. In fact, if you read my look ahead for what’s dropping at Aldi in July, you’ll know it’s something that would have fit well into a Valentine’s Day theme. So, we’ll just overlook that flub. These are the very breakfast focused drops that Aldi’s releasing for us this week.

Sundae Shoppe Strawberries & Cream Rose Cones ($3.99; 7/22)
These cutesy cones already got a highlight in our monthly Aldi sneak peek. It’s easy to see why they get a spot above the rest. Molded strawberry and cream flavored frozen dessert to look like rose petals, served up in a cocoa flavored waffle cone. That’s just so dang creative. This is something you’d see at a shop in Japan rather than a budget store in the United States. Aldi’s truly blessed us with this one.
Breakfast Best Crispy Breakfast Poppers ($4.99; 7/22)
The creativity keeps on flowing! Aldi’s releasing two new crispy breakfast poppers this month in original and maple. In each set, you’ll find potato, egg, cheese, sausage, and bacon all coated in pancake batter. Just think how smooth your morning will be if you cook these up and throw them in a travel mug for your drive into the office.
Breakfast Best Deep Dish Breakfast Pizza ($3.99; 7/22)
If you want to start your morning off with a slower start, this may be the pick for you. Aldi’s new deep dish breakfast pizza serves up gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese in a deep dish crust. Let’s just hope it doesn’t have the quintessential 45 minute cook time that you’d expect a deep dish pizza to have.
Baker’s Treat Mini Muffins ($5.35; 7/22)
Is this Aldi’s answer to Entenmann’s Little Bites? They’re a little delayed, if so, but better late than never, I suppose. This week Aldi’s dropping boxes of both confetti cake and chocolate chip mini muffins for a little over $5 each. Grab these if you’re looking for a travel-safe dessert to add into a lunch box.
Specially Selected Raspberry or Cream Cheese Filled Croissants ($3.99; 7/22)
Wow. First Entenmann’s and now Aldi’s coming for Costco’s constant stream of filled croissants. Aldi’s versions that are releasing into stores this week will be available with raspberry or cream cheese filling. A Costco-sized serving of croissants is a lot to go through for one person, so Aldi’s smaller serving size will be ideal for the solo shoppers out there.
