The US Open is in full swing, and despite some rain disrupting things slightly, by and large those balls are a-flyin’. I follow tennis in a low-level fashion, way more than any other sport – it’s the slightly gladiatorial thing of two people facing off against each other, locked in a battle of stamina and strategy, that I love – so I’ve always got one eye on who’s advancing and who’s being knocked out. The drama! Can’t get enough.

Inevitably, I’ve also got one eye on how brands and restaurants respond to tennis season, and this year, Dunkin’ entered the fray. Following its recent collab with Alix Earle, it’s just announced a new tennis menu, and some merch and collectibles to boot.

Dunkin’s Tennis Menu

Yesterday, Dunkin’ revealed the details of its new limited-time tennis menu, which will drop on August 30. It’s a fairly snug offer, with two new drinks and a new vehicle for an existing treat. On the drinks side, its Melon Deuce Energy combines watermelon lime and raspberry flavors, topped up with lemonade. Matcha (and protein) fans will likely prefer its new Matcha Point, which mixes matcha with French vanilla flavor and protein milk. Dunkin’ says that each medium serving will have 18 grams of protein, perfect if you’re looking to rebuild your muscles after a long day on the court (just in case any pro tennis players are reading this, y’know).

Fancy a snack? If so, you can now get MUNCHKINS Donut Holes in a limited-edition tennis can: Dunkin’s offering this limited-edition vehicle for all your sugary, doughy needs as part of the new menu. It’s all very fun and playful. Just don’t try to take them onto the court; I’m not sure donut holes have much bounce.

Merch And Collectibles

Dunkin’s new tennis menu is just one of a host of things the chain’s doing and offering over the next few weeks. Starting Friday, September 4 at 10 a.m. ET, you can grab limited-edition HEAD x Dunkin’ tennis bags, which come in either orange or pink, for $99 each. There will also be additional merch and collectible items ranging from $15 to $50. Head to DunkinRunsonMerch.com to check them out when they drop.

Then, if you happen to be in NYC on August 30 or 31, you can take part in “Game, Set, Sip,” a two-day fan activation in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central, mounted in collaboration with American Express. Running from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day, Dunkin’ says that you can “take on a precision challenge, sample Dunkin’s newest menu items, snap shareable photos and enjoy tennis-inspired surprises throughout the space.” If you’re an Amex Gold Card Member, you can get a fast pass for it all.

That all sounds fun, we guess — but really, it’s all about the food and drinks for us. Get ’em from Sunday.
