Well this is awkward. I’ve never seen this before. Aldi only has three new products this week. What a disappointment. Usually I’m fighting an internal battle to decide which five products to include in the weekly haul. Not this time! The decision was very quickly made for me.

In another sense, one product actually had three versions dropping this week and another has two! So we could argue that we’re actually getting six new things this week! Wow, score. A bonus. What a real treat, Aldi. You really have outdone yourself. Let’s get into the three/six new products that are hitting Aldi stores this week.
Priano Maple, Bacon, & Ricotta Tortellini (9/16; $4.29)
Aldi’s throwing in a fall dish to their lineup at the final moment. Yes, it might only be the middle of September but by the rate grocery stores are moving this year we might just see a shift to peppermint and gingerbread next week. Get these while you can! The pairing of maple and bacon with ricotta thrown in sounds like the perfect fall comfort food to have on hand for nights you need to take it easy.
Bavarian Soft Pretzel Twists or Sticks (9/16; $4.79)
Big innovations are coming to us from Aldi this week. Soft pretzels in regular or stick form! The most disappointing thing about these frozen pretzels is that they don’t actually come with a mustard or cheese dip thrown in. The best part of grabbing something from the freezer aisle is when they throw in everything in one box! Please Aldi, there’s still time to adjust course. Then again, Aldi is known for the dips so I guess it won’t kill us to get it on our own.
Deutsche Kuche Savory Strudels (9/16; $4.49)
The real banger to end things off with―Aldi’s releasing three versions of this savory strudel this week. You’ll be able to find savory strudels in spinach and ricotta, roasted pepper and cheddar cheese, and mushroom and cheese varieties.
I do find it a little odd that the first two got the specific type of cheese named on the box and the third is just generic cheese. Which cheese is it? We’ll have to wait for it to hit stores on the 16th to find out. What a tease! These would all make for the ultimate appetizer to cut into bite-sized pieces and set out for guests at a shindig.
