When it arrives, fall brings another season with it – and that season’s football season. It’s a kind of two-in-one offer, if you think about it. You get crispy leaves, and you get touchdowns. Oh, and you get a plethora of new food offers, too (so, really, a three-in-one). Over the last few weeks, food brands and companies have been going hard with their football-themed promotions. We’ve had Pizza Hut’s gameday deals (and a free pizza offer) and Pillsbury’s new football-shaped cookies; DoorDash has been offering gameday credit and, strangely, the chance to win a free car; and Jimmy John’s is teaming up with ESPN. A lot going on here!

And now, Wingstop has entered the chat with a new flavor trio. Wings + football = perfection, after all. Let’s discuss.

Wingstop’s Lemon Pepper Trio

This year, Wingstop is celebrating the return of football season with its Lemon Pepper Trio, which sees it add two new flavors to its OG Lemon Pepper. The trio contains:

  • Original Lemon Pepper: You know what you’re getting here. Zesty, spicy, sharp.
  • Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch: The first of its two new flavor expressions, this one mixes Lemon Pepper dry rub with a crispy Korean chili crunch.
  • Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze: A citrusy glaze is hit with the same Korean chili crunch, for a twist on Lemon Pepper flavors.

Wingstop’s Lemon Pepper Trio is an extension of the huge success of the original dry rub flavor and, according to the restaurant’s press release, is its “biggest play yet for the rituals that make football season so special, with even more to come.” And if you’re a Club Wingstop member, you can get it right now! The Lemon Pepper Trio launches today, September 10, before going nationwide on September 15. Limited-time only, folks, so get it while you can.

Wing Pass

Not content with mere new flavors, Wingstop is also introducing its Wing Pass, which it calls

“the ultimate season ticket for the dedicated hosts who turn every Sunday into a full spread.” With the purchase of a Wing Pass, you get access to weekly Watch Party Bundles for up to 18 weeks, which include 20 wings, a large fry, and a large ranch. There are only 100 available, though, and they’re released today – yes, TODAY – at 12 p.m. Central Time on wingshop.com, costing $27.99 each. If you’re one of the lucky 100, you’ll get your new Watch Party Bundle offers in your Wingstop app each Sunday morning. I can think of worse things to do on game day than eat a copious number of wings.
