As a certified Disney adult and Ghirardelli fan, there’s nothing more I love than going to Disney’s California Adventure and getting ice cream in San Fransokyo Square. Honestly, it’s basically my happy place. Give me a Disney park, a Ghirardelli sundae, and I’m a very happy camper.

My usual go-to order is the World’s Famous Hot Fudge Sundae, however, I’m always open to trying a new sweet treat. Luckily, just in time for spooky season, Ghirardelli has brought a new limited-time sundae to Disneyland and we’re losing our minds over here. And yes, I will absolutely be putting my usual order on pause for this. Halloween desserts have a way of doing that to me.
Ghirardelli Adds ‘Put A Spell On You’ Sundae To Its Menu
At the Ghirardelli location located at Disney California Adventure, you’ll find the new ‘Put A Spell On You’ sundae. This limited-edition treat has mint chocolate chip ice cream, handmade milk chocolate fudge, whipped cream, purple sprinkles and a waffle cone designed to look like a witches hat.
After a long day walking around Disneyland, you’ll most definitely need a sweet treat and this one will satisfy all of your cravings with a Halloween flare. Plus, if you’re a ‘Hocus Pocus’ fan, then you’ll appreciate the name as it’s a song from the popular movie—you’ll want to get this especially if you have tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash later in the evening to get your in the spirit.
There’s no denying that Ghirardelli is expensive. A $21 sundae is pricey, however, the quality and flavor is unbeatable. Sure, you could get ice cream from Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream or a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar (which don’t get me wrong is pretty good too), however, it’s no match to Ghirardelli. Those options have their place, but when I’m craving a truly over-the-top Disney dessert, Ghirardelli is the move.
Where To Get The ‘Put A Spell On You’ Sundae
The only sad part about this news is that you’ll only be able to try it if you’re at Disney California Adventure. It’s not available at other Ghirardelli locations in New York City and San Francisco, for instance. I mean, I guess it just means you’ll need to book a Disney trip this month to try it? We’re not complaining—the Incredicoaster and an ice cream sundae? Count us in. If you needed an excuse to plan that Disney trip, consider this your sign.
