Dak Prescott Is Getting His Own Special Edition Spindrift Pack

Dak Prescott knows a few things about food and drink collabs. For years now, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has been busy off the field working with various brands like Campbell’s, H-E-B, and Athletic Brewing Company, signing up as an “athlete-owner” to the latter drinks company just a few weeks ago. His collaborations and partnerships with food companies and outlets also frequently have a charitable component: In 2021, the football star’s work with Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, a sports bar franchise of which he is part-owner, saw him pass out 1,000 free meals.

All of those things are coming to bear once again in Prescott’s latest collaboration – this time, with Spindrift. Sports fans, there’s a limited-edition pack on the way. Sorry, a Pak. Let me explain. 

Dak Prescott x Spindrift

This football season, Prescott is partnering with Spindrift on a new collaboration that sees the launch of the Dak Pak. This limited-time multipack contains the athlete’s favorite flavors from the sparkling water brand, Cranberry Punch and Fuji Apple. I’m impressed if he drinks these before a game, given that one sip of sparkling water is enough to send my indigestion skyward and limit all physical activity for approximately four hours. But I guess that’s why he’s a football star, and I’m not. Well, that and all the other reasons (lack of general ability on a sports pitch, limited enthusiasm for egg-shaped balls, etc).

The Dak Pak will also contain some exclusive gear for Prescott, sports, and sparkling water fans (and the intersection of the three), including a YETI can cooler and a custom-made hat. If you’re not in it for the water flavors, at least you can be in it for the merch. 

A Good Cause

As mentioned, Prescott’s collaborations often have some sort of charitable purpose, and this one’s no different. For every Dak Pak bought and shipped to a Texas address, the full purchase price will be donated to Faith, Fight, Finish, Prescott’s foundation. Faith, Fight, Finish was inspired by the words of wisdom Prescott’s mother used to impart upon him, and supports causes like mental health support, suicide prevention, and colon cancer research, among others. It’s as good a reason as any to grab a limited-edition variety pack if you’re Texas-based. 

Elsewhere, Spindrift has been busy this year launching its line of iced teas. Spindrift Tea dropped in March, in four flavors, and features real squeezed fruit and brewed tea. Lots going on!
