They don’t rest in Chobani’s creamer department (although does Chobani have a creamer department? If so…sort of a dream job!). 2026 has been a year of new creamers, returning favorites, and steps into new flavor territories for the dairy brand, and we last checked in with it a couple of months back, when discussing its Ube Sweet Cream option. Since then, though, Chobani’s been biding its time. Lying in wait. Counting the days. For what, you ask? For Christmas, of course!

That’s right: Christmas coffee creamers are starting to come thick and fast (although they did start appearing back in July, which was a step too far), and Chobani’s kicking into action. It’s got two creamer flavors coming back for the festive season. So why aren’t its customers totally pleased? Let’s discuss.
Pistachio Chocolate And Peppermint Mocha: Welcome Back
As food content creator @candyhunting reported on Instagram, Chobani’s bringing back its Pistachio Chocolate and Peppermint Mocha creamer flavors for the festive season. Now, one of these is quite obviously less festive than the other – and it’s also more recent. Its Pistachio Chocolate creamer first dropped at Costco in June of this year, whereas its Peppermint Mocha has been a fixture in Chobani’s Christmas lineup for a while. It’s also a favorite of ours, just so ya know.
This time around, Chobani Pistachio Chocolate will be a Flavor Drop, so it might not stick around for that long. For now, it may also only be available at Costco, although Chobani says it will appear in other stores later in the year. Peppermint Mocha, meanwhile, will be available more widely: It’s already listed on the Kroger website.
And Why Aren’t People Happy?
Well, people are half not happy. News of the Peppermint Mocha flavor’s return was broadly met with joy in @candyhunting’s comment section…but the Pistachio Chocolate flavor got a slightly more muted response. Several people said that when they tried it over the summer, they were left underwhelmed; it was variously described as “ok” and “not good,” neither of which are exactly ringing endorsements.
I can’t help but feel that response was partly prompted by the flavor of the creamer, but also partly prompted by Dubai Chocolate fatigue. We’ve seen so many chocolate and pistachio products in the last few years that by the time Chobani got around to releasing its creamer, there was a general sense of burnout – and it also meant that if something was going to stand out, it had to be really, really good. That said, Chobani’s Pistachio Chocolate flavor does have its fair share of fans, and if you haven’t had enough of the combo just yet, it could be right up your street.
