Chobani may have made a name for itself with its yogurts, but more recently, it’s been all about the creamer. The dairy producer has waded ever-further into the creamer world with flavors that may not be totally left-field, but which definitely push the boat out for what a creamer can be. Hence, in the last year, we’ve tried Chobani’s new cookie butter creamer, we’ve tried (and loved) its s’mores flavored coffee creamer, and in the last few days, we’ve discussed the return of its cookies & cream creamer. There’s been a lot going on.

And now there’s about to be even more, as Chobani is gearing up to release a new, limited-edition, blueberry-flavored creamer – and it all seems to be in honor of the 250th anniversary of the US. Ready for your coffee to taste like blueberry pie?
Chobani American Blueberry Coffee Creamer
Chobani’s new American Blueberry Coffee Creamer hasn’t actually officially been announced yet. Still, news of its leak came via @candyhunting, who in turn saw pictures of the new creamer on Target’s website. Okay, so we know that if it’s on a major retailer’s site, it’s probably not really a leak, but on the website itself, it says it’s not available until June 14, which is six weeks away. So, we’re going with leak. It’s a way more fun way to look at it.
But we digress! What’s the deal with this coffee creamer? Well, it looks as though it’s pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. American Blueberry Coffee Creamer will, we’d imagine, taste like blueberries, with a delightfully creamy edge, by virtue of the fact that it’s made with real cream. The carton is emblazoned with stars and stripes, and in case you were in any doubt of the intention behind that, it also has a “Happy 250th USA” label on it.
How Much Is This One Gonna Cost Me?
When it comes out, the creamer will be $5.99 at Target, although prices may vary in other stores. We wouldn’t imagine that this one is gonna stick around for long, given the very specific nature of its release – so snap it up while you can.
All-American Drinks
Chobani’s new creamer is far from the only drink product being released to honor the country’s 250th birthday. Just yesterday, we reported on the new All-American Gatorade Mashups flavor, which has just landed in stores. American Dew, which comes (no surprises here) from Mountain Dew, has also started to produce waves, while Coke’s new can designs in honor of the key anniversary of 1776 have also made headlines. It looks as though it’s going to be a very drinks-focused summer, with said drinks imbued with a lot of patriotism. There’ll be more to come, we have no doubt.
