Aldi has faced a lot of criticism this year from its customers, primarily due to recipe changes and an alleged lack of quality control – but one thing it’s hard to fault is its prices. Yes, it may not be as cheap as it once was, but by and large, it’s still more affordable than other stores, and it’s made significant efforts in 2026 to keep shoppers’ spending low by slashing prices.

As we move into what can be the most expensive time of the year for a lot of people, that’s very welcome – and now, Aldi’s doing its best to ensure that when you’re doing your big grocery shop for Thanksgiving, you won’t be left out of pocket. This year, the supermarket is promising customers a full Thanksgiving meal for under $39. How? We’ll explain.

Yesterday, Aldi announced that its shoppers would be able to find everything they needed this year for Thanksgiving dinner (well, within reason – we’re talking about the essentials here) for under $39, and you could feed 10 people for that amount. It’s worth noting this doesn’t come in the form of a set meal, but rather, Aldi’s added up the individual cost of everything it says you’ll need in its stores, and starting October 14 through November 25, you’ll be able to find all of it.

Pleasingly, Aldi isn’t shaving things back here. Aldi’s holiday meal includes, it says in its press release, a “16-pound turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, cranberries, peas, carrots, celery, pumpkin pie ingredients, milk and whipping cream.” Now, sure, if you wanted to be a little more extravagant, you might have to spend more, and you may also have to fork out if you’re buying a ready-made pumpkin pie. We’d also note that certain items that might be standard for some people, like regular potatoes or green beans, aren’t included. But it’s still not a bad batch of items for the price.

And How Do I Avail Of This Deal?

Aldi’s Thanksgiving bundle is available in stores and through delivery services like DoorDash, Instacart, and Uber Eats (although you may be subject to additional costs on those platforms). Aldi has also, rather helpfully, created a checklist for shoppers to follow, which you can print out and take into the store with you. Speaking of which, do people still use printers? Is that a thing? I haven’t fired mine up for about three years. But that’s just me, y’know.

Now, how does this price fare to previous years? Well, back in 2024, Aldi offered a similar bundle for $47, again for 10 people. Importantly, though, that one included boxed mac and cheese and green bean casserole ingredients, as well as ingredients for mashed potatoes…this year’s, meanwhile, has more of an emphasis on fresh fare. You win some, you lose some, we guess?
