There are burgers, and then there are burgers that make you question how you’re supposed to fit them in your mouth. Red Robin’s latest creation falls firmly into the second category, because why would you only want one type of beef on your burger?

Starting October 19th, Red Robin is introducing a Prime Rib Stack Burger, which is exactly what it sounds like: a burger topped with more beef. And that’s only the beginning. The chain is also bringing back two fan-favorite burgers, adding new appetizers, wings, milkshakes, and drinks, and generally giving its menu a pretty serious makeover.

What’s On Red Robin’s New Prime Rib Stack Burger?

Let’s start with the main event. The Prime Rib Stack Burger features a hand-pressed beef patty topped with sliced prime rib, Monterey Jack cheese, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli, all tucked into a black-and-white sesame seed brioche bun.

Yes, that’s beef on beef. I suppose if you’re going to call something a Prime Rib Stack, you’d better make sure there’s a decent amount of meat involved.

The caramelized onions and garlic aioli are what sell it for me. You’ve already got two kinds of beef and melted cheese, so a little sweetness from the onions sounds like a pretty good way to bring everything together. Although I suspect this is the kind of burger that requires both hands, several napkins, and absolutely no plans to look graceful while eating it―which sounds exactly like the sort of situation I’d find myself in on a first date.

The burger comes with a bottomless side and will only be available for a limited time.

Two Fan-Favorite Burgers Are Coming Back, Too

If stacking prime rib onto a beef patty sounds a little excessive, Red Robin is also bringing back the Bleu Ribbon Burger and Burnin’ Love Burger.

The Bleu Ribbon comes with bleu cheese crumbles, crispy onion straws, lettuce, tomato, HEINZ 57 Sauce, and green chili aioli. Meanwhile, the Burnin’ Love turns up the heat with fried jalapeño coins, salsa, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and green chili aioli.

Both are joining Red Robin’s Big YUMMM Deals menu, where meals start at $9.99 and include an entrée, bottomless side, and bottomless beverage when dining in.

There Are New Wings, Milkshakes, And Drinks, Too

Clearly, three burgers weren’t enough because Red Robin has a whole collection of other menu items arriving alongside them.

For starters, there’s a new Spinach Artichoke Dip, served with warm tortilla chips, plus two chicken wing flavors. You can go with classic Lemon Pepper or Lemon Pepper Buzz, which adds Red Robin’s Buffalo-style sauce for a spicier, tangier kick.

There’s also a Signature Grilled Chicken & Broccoli entrée, with your choice of ancho marinade, Whiskey River BBQ sauce, teriyaki, or blackened seasoning. You know, in case you’re trying to be sensible while everyone else is ordering beef on beef.

Dessert is getting some attention, too. The new Cookie Dough Milkshake combines soft serve with cookie dough, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup, while the Salted Caramel Brownie Milkshake brings together brownies, salted caramel, chocolate, and whipped cream.

And clearly there was still room on the menu. Red Robin is introducing five bottomless Refreshers: Tropical Dragon Fruit, Mango Passion Lemonade, Sunset Lemonade, Poppin’ Purple Lemonade, and Raspberry Limeade. You can even add Red Bull to any of them, should your lunch require an energy boost.

When Does Red Robin’s New Menu Launch?

The new menu items arrive at participating Red Robin locations nationwide on October 19th. The Prime Rib Stack Burger is a limited-time offering, and prices and availability may vary by location.

I’m torn between the Prime Rib Stack and the returning Burnin’ Love Burger, although the cookie dough milkshake is making a pretty convincing case for itself, too. At this rate, the hardest part of going to Red Robin might be deciding what to order before everyone else at the table gets too hangry.
