Halloween is still weeks away — okay, just a couple of weeks, but it still feels like a long time off — but that doesn’t matter if you enter your local Costco warehouse. That’s because the store shelves are starting to light up with holiday decorations, toys, and plenty of festive seasonal foods.

Costco is already decking its halls and getting ready for the winter’s holiday season. In fact, we just spotted the following five new holiday-themed arrivals at our store, and they’re so enticing that we’re actually picking them up early. I mean, it’s never to soon to start Christmas shopping and eating, right?
Gingerbread Houses
Are you ready to build a festive, icing-topped gingerbread house? If you are, you can pick one up at Costco right now. Gingerbread houses have been spotted in store locations, though they’re not yet available to shop online. So, you can grab a box (or two, if you like to get competitive like my family does) and start practicing your building skills early.
And if you’re worried that your gingerbread might go bad before December 1 even arrives, remember: These houses are always baked to last months on store shelves, so you don’t need to be too concerned.
Advent Calendars
Advent calendars always sell out early, especially if you’re hunting for viral ones — but Costco has you covered. Yes, advent calendars have already arrived at Costco, and this year, we’re skipping the toy-filled ones in favor of the foodie options popping up in-store.
If you’re a Red Bull fan, you’re going to want to get your hands on this year’s Red Bull Advent Calendar, which shoppers have spotted at select locations. Technically, it’s a bit more like a 24-pack of mixed flavors than a traditional advent calendar that gives you a little treat each day leading up to Christmas — so you can wing it if you’d like and sip every can well before December 24 arrives.
Prefer something else? Costco is also already selling a hot cocoa advent calendar with 12 hand-selected coca varieties that’ll warm you up on chilly mornings or evenings. Each one of the 12 flavors comes in a two-serving size so you can enjoy 24 drinks in total throughout December (or right now, if fall’s crisp weather has you feeling like you need a warm cup of cocoa).
Holiday-Themed (and Flavored) Sodas
Some of the best sodas are the holiday-inspired flavors that appear only in November and December. And if you’re a fan of fiber-rich prebiotic sodas, I’ve got good news: holiday Poppi and Olipop sodas have been spotted at Costco. So, if you’ve been dying to crack open a can of Pomegranate Sparkle or Cranberry Fizz, now’s your chance to start stocking up.
The Olipop Winter Variety Pack, which features 15 cans of Vintage Cola, Pomegranate Sparkle, and Ginger Ale, is available in-warehouse and online right now. Similarly, Costco is also selling an 18-count pack of Poppi Cranberry Fizz, my own personal festive favorite. These holiday flavor combinations are perfect to chill before guests arrive and make excellent mixers for cocktails and mocktails, too.
Holiday-Inspired Coffee Beans and Grounds
I’m someone who’s guilty of brewing a cup of Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Ground Coffee year-round, so I was thrilled to spot holiday-inspired blends popping up in my local Costco’s coffee aisle. Holiday coffee beans and grounds are always a treat, and you can start brewing up the flavors of December right now.
If you’re looking for whole beans, add a 2-pound bag of San Francisco Bay’s Holiday Signature Blend Whole Bean Coffee to your cart this week. It’s a smooth brew, and it’ll remind you of a cold December morning thanks to its notes of milk chocolate and baking spices. I’m picking it up as a cookie baking accompaniment.
Prefer a holiday classic? You can’t go wrong with a box of Starbucks’ famous Limited Edition Holiday Blend, which is already available at Costco in the form of a 72-count box of K-Cups. Not nearly as sweet or minty as the peppermint mocha version, the Holiday Blend features notes of maple and herbs, and it’s a great base for any festive creamers you love mixing in during December.
Panettone
Lastly, we spotted an iconic holiday treat hanging out at Costco: a 1-kilogram panettone. This classic Christmas cake from Milan is already on sale for the season ahead, and this one is so big you’ll have no problem making it last (although you’ll probably want to eat it in a single evening, if we’re being honest).
Made with natural sourdough yeast, this tall and fragrant holiday dessert includes candied orange, citron, lemon zest, and raisins. Yes, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’ve brought a panettone home every year for Christmas, this is one you might want to pick up early this year.
