‘Tis the season of Lindt Lindor truffles. It is in my house, anyway. For me, Lindor truffles are inseparable from Christmas: It’s a time-honored tradition at this point for me to work my way through an entire box, one by one, as I sit nursing my belly after consuming a metric ton of ham, turkey, and stuffing. And luckily for me – and for everyone else – Lindt remains very accommodating to our collective need for variety. Throughout this year, it’s both brought out new mixes and revived old favorites, to the joy of everyone.

And now, it’s re-released a holiday flavor that I’m particularly excited about. Shortbread Lindor is back, and we’re ready to munch.

Lindt Lindor Shortbread Truffles

This year, Lindt’s Lindor Shortbread Truffles are – or at least, seem to be – coming back for another spin. We first caught word of this when Lindt South Africa posted about the flavor over on Instagram, signposting that its Shortbread Truffles would be newly arriving in that market, and they’re also currently available on Lindt’s website (although it should be said that they’re primarily available in bulk on there right now) and on Amazon. They’ve also started to appear for sale in other countries, signaling a wider return for the holiday season.

As yet, though, Lindt Lindor Shortbread Truffles don’t seem to be on sale at major retailers in the US, but given how popular these were when they dropped last year, we’d hope that’ll change relatively soon. As a quick reminder: Lindt Lindor Shortbread Truffles combine a melt-in-your-mouth milk chocolate center with a shortbread-studded milk chocolate shell. They’re crunchy, creamy, buttery, and sweet – exactly what you want this time of year.

But I Want Them Now, And I Don’t Want To Buy Them In Bulk. What Do I Do?

Never fear: Where there’s a will, there’s a way. And that way is by purchasing one of Lindt’s pick-and-mix boxes. Head to the pick-and-mix section of the Lindt website and pick the box size you want. You can then add Shortbread Truffles as an option on the next page. These boxes are very clearly intended to be gifts – but why can’t you gift yourself the joy of chocolate, I ask you? Or, alternatively, you could wait until Lindt drops them in their own boxes in stores, and busy yourself with its Pumpkin Spice Truffles in the meantime. I can think of worse ways to distract myself.
