Dunkin’s Rumored Holiday Menu Is Going Big On One Ingredient

The holiday menus have started to come thick and fast, folks! It took a minute to ramp up there, but now the wave is truly coming ashore. And it’s probably no surprise that we’re paying particular attention to what cozy, holiday-themed drinks will be available this year. Starbucks, Whataburger, and Cracker Barrel have all so far either teased or released their new holiday beverages, and there are many a festive sip to be had.

But what about Dunkin’? Surely, it’s gonna be putting in a strong showing with its drinks this year, right? Well, the chain has yet to explicitly confirm what it’s got in store, but a rumored menu floating around has given us a sneak peek at what to expect. Spoiler alert: You’re probably going to need to like cookie butter. 

Happy Holidays From Dunkin’

In the last week or so, there have been rumblings from several well-placed sources in the food content creator world about Dunkin’s upcoming holiday menu. Now, we do have to say that until we get official word from Dunkin’ itself, we can’t confirm that these drinks will definitely be available – but these rumors do have a habit of coming true. Both @SnackWire and @markie_devo have said there will be 10 drinks on its holiday menu this year, a mixture of returning and new options – and it looks like we’ll be getting a lot of cookie butter.

In fact, cookie butter features in five of its purported drinks: Cookie Butter Hot Chocolate, Cookie Butter Matcha, Cookie Butter Oat Chai Latte, Cookie Butter Cloud Latte, and the Cookie Butter Cloud Dunkalatte. Yes: The beloved flavor is back in stores, and we predict big things from it this year.

And what of the other beverages that are apparently coming? Well, it looks as though customers will be getting Toasted White Chocolate Signature Lattes, Iced Spiced Cookie Coffees, Raspberry White Chocolate Matchas, Almond White Chocolate Shakin’ Espressos, and Toasted White Chocolate Cloud Lattes. The latter three all seem to be new, and that Almond White Chocolate Shakin’ Espresso is already setting my tastebuds alight.

The return of cookie butter has a fair few fans in a flutter. @markie_devo’s post in particular was met with many, many comments from happy customers saying they’re delighted the flavor’s coming back for another spin – and it comes at a time when cookie butter is having a bit of a strange moment elsewhere…in Aldi cheese. The food world is a very strange place. And if you’re a cookie butter lover, then you’ll probably be in heaven over the next month or two (if this menu does turn out to be true); I personally find it a little sweet and cloying sometimes, but that’s just me. We guess we’ll find out the score on November 4, when it’s reported to drop.
