Where does Crumbl find the energy for all this stuff? That’s what I want to know. To say that the cookie and dessert chain’s pace is relentless would be the understatement of the century: Crumbl puts out new options pretty much every week, and we virtually exhaust ourselves trying to keep up with it and taste them all. In the last few weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of sampling both its Halloween cookies and its Frozen Hot Chocolate cookie – and while neither of them will go down in history as landmark releases, they were all perfectly decent (although the former were arguably better than the latter).

This week, though, Crumbl’s taking the heat off. Putting its feet up. You want a baked cookie? Fine. But they’d prefer if you made do with the dough. Scoopable cookie dough is here.
Crumbl Scoopable Cookie Dough
For one week and one week only, Crumbl is offering its new Scoopable Cookie Dough, a limited-time menu item that takes a classic chocolate chip and reduces some of that pesky crunch. Its Scoopable Cookie Dough combines a soft, scoopable tray-baked chocolate chip cookie dough with vanilla bean mousse. In its press release, Crumbl stresses that the cookie dough is baked “long enough to meet food safety requirements” – so, essentially, you don’t have to worry about it being raw.
Crumbl’s Scoopable Cookie Dough arrives when scoopable cookies are having a real moment on social media. If your FYP is dominated by baking content (which tends to happen to mine every now and again, usually when I’m hungry – these platforms know us too well…), you’ll probably have seen your fair share of home cooks sinking spoons into just-cooked cookie dough, likely with a voiceover barreling along at a frantic pace telling you it’s a must-try. Well, now you can. At Crumbl.
But For How Long?
Until the end of play on November 7. As with so many of Crumbl’s other desserts, this will only be around for a couple of days, so if you want to sample it, head to your local store now.
And…Do I Want To Try It?
That likely depends on how you feel about scoopable cookie dough. What we will say, though, is that so far, this new menu item has had a broadly warm response. Over on Reddit, where users tend to review Crumbl products more harshly than on any other social media platform, customers have been busy praising Crumbl’s cookie dough: One person said it was “a great take on the viral TikTok trend,” while another said they “absolutely loved it.”
Elsewhere, though, people have been less keen: food content creators @jaskamreviews on Instagram took issue with the portion size and were underwhelmed by its flavor. So, maybe not a universal win from Crumbl here – but it likely won’t go down in history as a dud.
