As soon as June gloom fades away here in Los Angeles, everyone runs out for bottomless Mimosa brunches at restaurants with patios and starts having beer-fueled BBQs. I love the energy of these activities, but I wish they weren’t so centered around alcohol. Don’t get me wrong, I love to party. Sadly, my IBS absolutely refuses to let me have fun when alcohol is involved.
If you’re all about summer fun in the sun and you’re sober-curious, pregnant, fully alcohol-free, trying to cut down on the booze, or are an IBS warrior like me, our 2-ingredient mocktails are for you. These simple, easy, quick, and delicious 2-ingredient mocktails are perfect for the months of June, July, and August. Get ready to party sans booze!
When you combine one of our best water flavorings with one of our best seltzers, you get a perfect mocktail. Mix in a packet of this True Lemon strawberry lemonade powder into a 365 sparkling water for a fruity, gingery, sparkling drink. This is refreshing and easy on the tummy, thanks to the ginger and carbonation from the seltzer.
Okay, yes. One of the ingredients in this 2-ingredient recipe is already a mocktail. I know. But when you mix it with our best grapefruit juice, it really sings. Plus, both ingredients are delicious on their own. In a way, it’s like having three delicious drink options.
Kirkland’s makes the best Margarita mix, hands down. When you mix it with one of our favorite caffeinated seltzers, you have one of the best Margarita dupes you can make. The carbonation adds a fun, new element to the Margarita that’ll make you totally forget about the alcohol.
Sanzo Calamansi Sparkling Water is one of the best things we’ve tasted recently. I will use any excuse to drink it. Barritt’s Ginger Beer is my favorite ginger beer (and one of my favorite carbonated beverages in general). Mixed together and served over ice, this pair is delicious. It’s super carbonated, gingery, and citrusy. If you can splurge for a third ingredient, add a wedge of fresh lime or a piece of ginger candy as a garnish!
