4 Foods You Should Be Buying at Staples

Staples is a great place to buy groceries. That’s right. Staples. The office supply store is a great place to buy groceries.

You’re not going to find items like tomatoes or salmon, but you will find a surprising number of products you want and need. These are the four foods you should be buying at Staples.

Mints

The variety of mints sold at Staples is beautiful: Lifesavers, Tic Tacs, fancy mints I’ve never even seen before. Most importantly, they sell multiple different brands of buttermints (aka pillow mints aka the most delicious things in the world). The next time you’re looking to buy Staples products, I highly recommend stocking up on all kinds of mints and staying minty fresh.

Anything and Everything Related to Coffee

As an office supply store, Staples knows coffee, so you should be buying coffee at Staples. It’s the one thing every office has in common: the presence of coffee. Why wouldn’t Staples sell coffee and coffee accouterments? They have all types and forms of coffee, sweeteners, and coffee creamers. Next time you’re grabbing pens and printer paper, grab some supplies for your morning beverage as well thanks to Staples coffee section.

Snack Variety Packs

Staples snacks should be a staple in your office or home. If you’re someone who likes a little bit of everything, grab a huge variety pack of snacks the next time you’re at Staples. They have Kellogg’s cereal, Pringles, Kind bars, and more. Keep these in your snack drawer at work if your office doesn’t provide good snacks—or keep them at home for lunchboxes or on-the-go snacking.

Individually Wrapped Snacks and Sweets

In charge of your kid’s soccer practice snacks this week? Head to Staples. You can grab the school supplies they will need for their upcoming history project and you can score some sweet, individually packaged products like Nutri-Grain bars, Cheez-Its, and Caribbean Food Delights Jamaican Style Spicy Beef Empanadas. Plus, Staples’ candy selection is something to write home about. This is also a great find if you live alone and don’t want to constantly be opening large packages that’ll go stale before you can eat them. Live serving size to serving size!

Bonus tip: Check Staples’ weekly coupons page, sign up for their mailing list to receive promotions in your inbox, and get 2% cashback if you use the Rakuten plug-in on your phone or computer to save at Staples! (No, this isn’t #sponcon—we just want you to save money!)
