If you can think of a snack mash-up, you can be pretty sure that someone else has thought of it too – and is minutes away from selling it at scale. Want peanut butter and jelly popcorn? You got it. Fancy some Tic Tacs that taste like Sprite? That’s a brand collab that has indeed been dreamt into being. You name it, they can make it.

So if you’ve ever, in an idle moment, had the brainwave that Oreos and croissants might go well together, then someone clearly picked up your psychic vibrations over at Mondelez International. The 7Days Oreo Croissant is now a thing. The only catch? So far, it’s only available in the United Kingdom. Sorry, guys, we Brits get all the fun with this one (so far, at least). Here’s what we know.

Move Over, Pain Au Chocolat

It might be disappointing to hear that the 7Days Oreo Croissant is not, in fact, a croissant made with Oreo dough – but to be honest, we think that would be such a variation on the form of this classic pastry that it could well just be a disaster. Instead, it’s more like a twist on a pain au chocolat. The pastry starts with a classic 7Days Croissant, and then Oreo filling is piped inside, combining its vanilla-flavored creme with cookie pieces. This is going to be something that delivers a biiiiig sugar rush if you’re eating it in the morning, so just be prepared for that one.

The 7Days x Oreo collaboration might feel a bit random until you remember that both brands are owned by Mondelez International. The food corporation acquired 7Days in 2021, and the brand is now positioned as the biggest croissant producer in the UK, making its move to release its Oreo flavor in the country first a natural fit. It’s currently rolling out in UK stores, and we’ll stay tuned for the response. Having said all this, 7Days Croissants are also available across the US, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if they were launched internationally pretty soon; keep an eye on shelves for this one.

New Collabs Everywhere!

7Days Oreo Croissants could land in the U.S. any time, but until then, Oreo’s staying busy with its other collaborations. It’s just announced an Oreo Marvel collab, with its all-new Stuf of Legends flavor that has a toasted marshmallow creme in the middle. We’re sold. We’re sold!

Elsewhere, Oreo’s been expanding its Cakester line and jumping on the birthday cake flavor bandwagon with its Oreo Confetti Cakester flavor. They’re pretty good, and if you want an easy substitution for an actual cake, you won’t get much better than these.
