Bizzy Coffee is a company known for their cold brew. It’s easily accessible in grocery stores, and all of their products are organic. While they’re marketing and branding is to die for in and of itself, their cold brews don’t fall short either. It has a strong flavor, and yet it’s still smooth and easy to sip on. But it’s not just us who loves the products that come out of Bizzy. Fans on Reddit are die-hard defending the Bizzy cold brews as the number one store-bought cold brews currently on the market. All of this to say, when Bizzy reached out making sure we were aware of their newest product lineup, we listened.

Their newest release is their collection of refrigerated, ready-to-drink Double Espresso shots. They come in three different roasts – a dark roast, amedium roast, and a blonde roast – and each 2-ounce bottle packs in 100mg of caffeine. Needless to say, we were dying to try these out. Now that we’ve had a chance to taste them ourselves, here’s what we think.

Our Official Sporked Review

Each of these brews are independently great for their own reasons. Coffee roast preference really all comes down to the individual. What I prefer as I’m sitting here writing this review is probably going to differ from what you might like. Regardless, I think there’s something for everyone in this release, so long as they’re in need of caffeine and like the taste of coffee.

Each of the dark, medium, and blonde roasts feel very aptly represented to their respective names by their flavors. The blonde roast is brighter and more acidic, but also less bitter. The dark roast certainly is the polar opposite of the blonde to the effect that it offers a very rich and robust deep flavor profile that leans into more chocolate-y, stout-like flavors. The medium roast is kind of the best of both worlds if you don’t necessarily have a preference between the bright, fruity notes and the nutty, rich notes.

They’re organic and responsibly made and sold in recycled packaging, so they’re a bit more conscious for their consumers. But none of that impacts the quality or execution of the espresso. Beyond their singular flavors, these are designed to be a simple solution for when you don’t have time to brew a cup of coffee or pull a shot of espresso. It’s an on the go hack to your morning cuppa, and we love it.

Where the flavor and caffeine content of these shots are quite strong, we would still recommend starting small with your milk and sugar, since it’s not necessarily a direct one-to-one translation with how your coffee would come out if you were pulling the shots fresh. In the end, the effects and flavor can be the same, just with a bit of a tweaking your ratios. Despite these being a premade option, they are not weak, watery, chemically, or have any of that nasty plastic flavor that you can sometimes get with refrigerated premade coffees.

Overall, we’re happy we have quite a few of these on hand already, because we would be having run to the store to stock up if not. These are gonna be our new favorite for on the go mornings, and we encourage fellow Bizzy lovers (and people seeking out something new) to try out this release for themselves.
