A Fan-Favorite Oreo Flavor Is Finally Back

Technically Not A Return

The cinnamon bun Oreos have never fully gone away. You can find them as close as Canada (via Amazon). To get these in the U.S. previously that means we would have had to pay insane fees to get it sent all this way. Though I swear it used to be more than $11 that Amazon currently has it listed for. I guess those dang resellers had to lower their prices at the news. They know their market is crumbling right in front of them.

Cinnamon bun Oreos are once again hitting shelves across the country as we speak. The limited edition flavor features a cinnamon cookie with cinnamon bun flavored cream in the middle. They’re a cinnamon lover’s dream. One downside to this limited release is, well, that it’s limited. Our neighbors to the north get them as a permanent flavor. It’s hard to see someone else living your dream.

We Have To Talk About The Price

Listen, like I said, I love Oreos with my full heart. I have an Oreo tattoo for goodness sake! It is hard to not get after them for their pricing, though. Every unique Oreo flavor gets the same pricing/packaging treatment. You’re paying the same price as a regular pack of Oreos but only getting just barely half of the product (10.68oz vs 17oz of cookies). I understand that it’s probably due to the fact that they are harder to produce because the production line isn’t working all year long. Why are they punishing us for their choice, though?! It hardly seems fair.

Nonetheless, as an Oreo and cinnamon bun fanatic. I will be first to buy these Oreos as soon as I run into them. Actually, now that I see how lucrative the resell market can be, maybe I’ll buy up the whole lot of them. I’ll sit on these like a dragon hoarding his gold until they’re stripped from shelves.
