We are so unbelievably blessed by the treats that have hit shelves this summer. Unfortunately, the latest addition to a long lineup of banging summer treats comes with a pro and a con. We’ll get into the specifics in a bit. Talk about burying the lede (it cancels out if I call out my own dubiousness). For now, let’s just talk about the important details. Reese’s has dropped a new sundae in Sam’s Clubs across the country.

What’s In The Reese’s Sundae Cup?
There’s a lot to love here. The Reese’s sundae cups are made with ice cream, Reese’s peanut butter, and chocolate swirls. Each cup is then topped with real Reese’s pieces mini peanut butter candies. Move over dot cakes, we’ve got a new powerhouse coming to town.
This is a no brainer for peanut butter and Reese’s lovers specifically. Keep these sundae cups in the freezer for an after dinner pick-me-up or heck, even a breakfast fit for a champion. Surely that peanut butter packs enough protein to start your day off right.
Only At Sam’s Club
The bad news is that this is only found in Sam’s Club. The Sam’s Club pack comes with 12 sundae cups in a box. I’m hoping that at the very least the bulk box will be a natural addition to Costco stores alongside Sam’s Club. Perhaps it could also lean on the Sam’s Club/Walmart connection and find its way into freezers at Walmart in a smaller serving size. Either way, I’m holding out hope for the future considering I don’t actually have a Sam’s Club membership.
I grew up eating Schwann’s confetti ice cream cups. Like, a lot of confetti ice cream cups. Talk about the original dot cake. So I may be coming into this with a little bias. I think the Reese’s sundae cup could be the next iteration of the confetti ice cream cup. It has the same satisfying crunch on top with a whole lotta peanut butter mixed into the equation. Reese’s sundae cups would be such a no brainer to make available everywhere imaginable.
Just think about how hard one of these would hit when you get them from the concession stand at the local pool. I would ascend. Then comes the possibility of getting one of these at a baseball stadium? Yes please! If I had it my way, every concession stand across the country would have Reese’s sundae cups in stock. For now though, we’ll just have to find a friend with a Sam’s Club membership to get our fix.
