The ALDI Advent Calendar Lineup for 2022 (Including a Spicy New Addition!)

On November 2nd, 2022, over forty themed advent calendars that cover all the holiday bases and then some will be available at ALDI. From classic chocolate to hard seltzer and everything in between, you’re guaranteed to find your day-tracking soulmate among these ALDI advent calendars.

For the uninitiated, the advent calendar is the gift that keeps on giving—it’s a calendar that hides within it a daily treat, drink, or sometimes even toy that help you make it through each day as you wait for the big event (typically Christmas). ALDI has a lot of them. And on the first Wednesday of November (aka National Advent Calendar Day, as designated by ALDI, which we all have marked on our actual calendars, of course) ALDI is opening the floodgates, releasing some of their best-selling advent calendars as well as some new selections.

Here’s a preview of what’s in store:

Chocolate

A solid jumping off point is always a nice chocolate advent calendar. Both Choceur and Moser Roth are offering chocolate truffle calendars (including a new Hanukkah calendar from Moser Roth) to anyone looking to dip their toes into the sweet end of advent calendar pool.

Hot Sauce

New to the lineup, Bay Island will release their 25 Days of Holiday Heat calendar to spice up your December one day at a time. According to Food & Wine, the calendar contains 24 mini bottles of hot sauce that range from mild chipotle to face-melting ghost pepper.

Cheese

If cheese is more your thing, Emporium Selections will have you covered with a cheese calendar (possibly the best combination of words I’ve typed all day) that you can store in your fridge for safe cheesing.

Booze

For those who like to keep it classy during the holidays with an adult beverage, ALDI’s fan-favorite wine advent calendar will return along with a beer advent calendar and a hard seltzer advent calendar. Any of those will be sure to add some extra holiday cheer to your December day-to-day.

Candles

A wine calendar and a cheese calendar sound like a nice way to unwind during the holiday season, but for anyone looking for a more aromatic way to celebrate, Huntington Home will offer their candle advent calendar (another new addition to the lineup) and their advent calendar candle at ALDI, too.

Pet Treats

Cat and dog owners rejoice as there will be advent calendars available for your fur baby as well! Pure Being’s advent calendars (one for cats, one for dogs) ensure “25 days of treats” that tackle skin and coat so you can ensure your pet will be going into 2023 with nonstop shine.

Toys

And for those out there with human babies (or babies at heart), Disney, Lego, Mattel, and Nickelodeon will also have themed toy/book advent calendars present in the round up at ALDI.
