Spring has sprung, Cinco de Mayo is around the corner, and it’s never too early to start prepping for Oktoberfest. Did I get that right? That’s what would appear to be happening based on the new products that are coming to Aldi this month. Weird but I’ve seen weirder! Regardless, there are a lot of exciting products coming to Aldi this month. Here are some of the best Aldi finds for April.

Specially Selected Frozen Salmon Wellington (4/1; $8.99)
Did everyone else know that you could make a Wellington with salmon? This is news to me. Thankfully, we only have to wait a few short days until this one hits stores on the first of the month. The puff pastry-wrapped loaf comes in two flavors: Cheese & Dill and Prawn & White Wine. A slightly risky pick for date night, but where has anyone ever gotten without taking risks?
Casa Mamita Stuffed Nachos (4/8; $4.29)
Stuffed nachos?! That’s revolutionary. Aldi is bringing back this ingenious frozen snack in three varieties: Queso, Beef & Cheese, and Kickin’ Chicken. You’ll never run out of ways to snack. Unless you’re vegan. I’m so sorry that you’ll be missing out on the novelty of it all, if that’s the case.
Whole & Simple Protein and Energy Bowls (4/15; $3.19)
I’m never not looking for a way to avoid actually preparing a meal in the middle of the work day. Aldi is releasing new microwavable bowls this month to help the cause. There are two to choose from—a Tahini & Chickpea Protein Bowl or an Edamame Energy Bowl—and each provides 14g and 21g of protein, respectively, to help fight off your afternoon hunger.
Sundae Shoppe Cinnamon Churro Ice Cream Sandwiches (4/22; $4.69)
There’s nothing in this description that doesn’t excite me. You get cinnamon, churros, and ice cream all packaged into one delicious product. Inject it straight into my veins! And the ice cream is salted caramel? Aldi you dirty dogs. You’re truly spoiling us with this and we can’t wait to dig in.
Casa Mamita Layered Tostada (4/22; $3.89)
Aldi calls it a layered toastada, I call it a Taco Bell Mexican Pizza dupe. Not only is this cheaper than Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza (which somehow costs $6.99!!!), but you can also keep it in the freezer for the right moment. Perfect for those drunk nights when you don’t want to spend a small fortune on delivery fees.
Deutsche Kuche Peanut Puffs (4/29; $2.49)
The Sporked team recently fell in love with Trader Joe’s hazelnut creme-filled bamba peanut snacks, and while these are lacking that sweet, creamy filling, they still make a fun snack to eat on the fly.
