We must have missed the memo that said every grocery store (or grocery seller, in this case) has to have a Thanksgiving meal deal. First there was Sam’s Club and Costco and now Amazon is throwing their hat into the ring. And they have a pretty tempting offer. Let’s see what they’ve got in store, or rather online, for us.

Dinner For $25
Everything you could need for a Thanksgiving for $25 is a big offer! And actually, they really deliver―which pains me to admit about Amazon. In this $25 Thanksgiving meal, you’ll find familiar favorites from brands that we know and love. You’ll get an 8 pound butterball frozen turkey, a can of Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce, two McCormick turkey gravy mix packets, two boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese, a box of Stove Top turkey stuffing, and a can of Nestle Carnation Evaporated Milk.
As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a spread of Amazon Grocery staples including five pounds of russet potatoes, two cans of whole kernel corn, a pound of whole carrots, two cans of cut green beans, an 8-count of crescent rolls, two pie crusts, and a can of pumpkin puree. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what we call a loss leader. Amazon knows they can sell this feast at a loss so they get you to test out their grocery delivery service.
Delivered Right To Your Door
I’m not all that mad at it. I’ll take any deal I can get these days. And they’ll deliver it right to your door. The only caveat is that you have to cook it up yourself but when the deal’s this good, that’s not a bad tradeoff. They’ll even give you free same-day delivery on orders of $25 or more. Would you look at that? We automatically hit the threshold of right off the bat. Damn, I hate how good they are at this.
Customers in more than 2,300 cities and towns across the U.S. where Amazon offers fresh groceries with same-day delivery can get the meal deal delivered to their doors within hours. Amazon’s even going a bit further with a few more deals to watch out for.
You can snag frozen turkey for $0.79/lb through November 26th, fresh turkey for $0.99/lb from November 14th through the 26th, a number of Thanksgiving staples for under $4 through the 26th, 40% off select charcuterie and party snacks through November 14th, and 40% off premade sides from November 15th through the 26th.
Personally, my friends have already locked in to getting the Costco Thanksgiving spread. It’s just a little more user friendly. That said, if you don’t mind putting in a little bit more work then the Amazon $25 meal deal is truly too good to pass up. It’s good to know we have options!
