Bang Energy Has A Patriotic New Flavor Hitting Shelves

We’ve been seeing a ton of new product releases just in time for the Fourth of July. And it’s no wonder why: this year is the 250th anniversary of the great US of A. With all of the celebrations planned (tailgate parties and BBQs anyone?), we’re bound to need some extra energy. Enter Bang Energy’s new American Berry flavor.

Bang Energy hasn’t been getting the attention it used to since it went into bankruptcy and was bought by its competitor, Monster Energy. But the brand has still been chugging along and releasing new items as they go. In fact, they just released a new flavor, Lime Pop Drop, back in March. (If you’re curious, Sporked reviewed it and discovered that it tasted like Mountain Dew Baja Blast.)

And now, they’ve got a brand new flavor on shelves with a red, white, and blue color scheme, just in time for the Fourth of July.

What’s Bang Energy American Berry Taste Like?

America. But really, folks: it’s a mystery. Bang Energy has been keeping this flavor under tight wraps. So far, we know that the drink will have the same features this brand is known for: zero calories, 300 mg of caffeine, and B vitamins. The company’s product page describes the new flavor as sweet berries with a candy-like finish. If that flavor sounds familiar, it’s no wonder why.

It’s got a berry taste, but how different is it from Bangster Berry?

This new flavor doesn’t sound too different from Bang’s Bangster Berry flavor, which is no longer listed on the company’s product page. We’re curious to see if the company’s focus on its new drink’s nostalgic candy taste could be a big clue: this new flavor could be an improved Bangster Berry wrapped in Red, White, and Blue.

Unfortunately, we’ll just have to wait until its release before we can try it. It should be in stores just in time for the Fourth of July and available anywhere Bang Energy drink is sold. And with the can’s patriotic design, there’s no way we’re missing this one on the shelves.
