Today, I get to talk about two of my greatest loves in life: pasta and Formula 1. As the Official Pasta Partner of Formula 1, Barilla just launched a new F1 wheel-shaped pasta. If you’re thinking, “Ariana, are you seriously here to tell me about a new wheel-shaped pasta?” The answer is yes. It’s more exciting than you think!

Okay, it’s probably about as exciting as you think.
But let me talk about it anyway!!!
This new Barilla shape is called “Racing Wheels,” and I mean this so sincerely: I want to eat those tires.
Just look at that tread! The ridges are so small and defined; I can already taste the texture on my tongue. They kinda remind me of Kraft’s Spongebob pasta, but more artful.
And also… if anything, these would definitely be considered full-wet tires with a tread like that. I say that like I know my way around an F1 car. I barely know what I’m talking about here, so go ahead and correct me if you must, but I’m pretty sure I’m right!
By the way, if you’re going to the Miami Grand Prix, you’ll see Barilla everywhere. There are two Barilla Lasagna Bars serving bolognese, ricotta, and spinach pastas for you to choose from. Inside the Paddock Club, where the fancy people go, Barilla will also serve their fancy bronze-cut pasta (Al Bronzo by Barilla) with other Racing Wheels dishes.
Barilla, while I love the tires, I do have more suggestions for F1 pasta shapes.
Here are some of my best ideas, free of charge:
- The Las Vegas Grand Prix Strip Circuit (it looks like a pig)
- The “many middle fingers” of Max Verstappen
- A wolf to represent Toto Wolff
- A bunch of little Lando’s in a box because it’s just all too much for him
See? I’m good at this. Call me, Barilla. Or just send me to the Grand Prix for an in-person pitch session. I’m available. (Just like this new pasta, which is already out in stores! Okay, toodles!!)
