I know what you’re thinking: “But Jordan! How can you judge non-dairy creamers? They are for coffee and you hate coffee!” But I would argue that actually makes me the perfect person to do this taste test. I’m completely neutral on the subject of coffee creamers. I have no preferences or alliances or preconceived notions. I am a blank slate ready to have coffee creamer poured all over me.
We tasted tons of non-dairy coffee creamers, ranging from tasty to absolutely horrific. These are the five that could possibly turn me into a coffee lover for the first time in my life.

- Simple Truth Oatmilk Non-Dairy Creamer Sweet Creme
-
I can’t believe how good this Simple Truth Non-Dairy Oatmilk Sweet Cream Creamer tasted. It was sweet without being too sweet. It tasted like real, creamy dairy. It blended perfectly into the coffee with minimal stirring. Plus, the flavor really enhanced the coffee rather than covering it up. I think it’s easy to make a chocolate-caramel-coconut-toffee creamer taste good, but making a sweet cream-flavored creamer this delicious and interesting is more impressive. Simple Truth knocked this one out of the park.

- Chobani Plant Based Caramel Macchiato Coffee Creamer
-
Chobani products, with their luscious dairy and authentic flavors, are always a strong contender in any ranking. Chobani ranked highly in the dairy coffee creamer ranking, and it ranked highly in the non-dairy creamer ranking as well. The caramel flavor is present but subtle. Mix this into your coffee for a bougie, local coffee shop-esque experience in your very own home (and for way less money). This creamer elevates a regular old cup of coffee to an elegant coffee beverage.

- Trader Joe’s Brown Sugar Oat Cream
-
Trader Joe’s is hit or miss, but they’ve a hit on their hands with this Brown Sugar Oat Creamer! It is great for anyone that likes a sweet Starbucks-y specialty type coffee. Danny Palumbo, my fellow Sporked staff writer, wanted to go full sweet treat with this and dunk a doughnut into it. This would also be wonderful in a homemade rendition of a Thai iced coffee. That’s a really good idea. Go make that right now!

- Silk Almond Creamer Sweet & Creamy
-
The Silk Almond Creamer in Sweet & Creamy flavor is the perfect blank canvas for your morning coffee. It would be great for anyone who wants their coffee to be just a little sweeter and creamier than a black coffee. That being said, it would also be wonderful for concocting a coffee beverage. This plus a shot of espresso plus cocoa powder plus a drizzle of caramel blended up with a bunch of ice? Pure luxury!

- Milkadamia Vanilla Creamer
-
I’ll start off by saying that Naajia Shukri, Sporked editorial assistant, loved this so much that she drank some of it on its own as a snack. That’s how good it is! The flavor is subtle. The office coffee drinkers felt like this would be ideal for iced coffee because it was so light and pleasant. Or, if you’re Naajia, you could just drink a big glass of it for breakfast.

The Simply Truth creamer is one of my favorites because the ingredients list is not nearly as long as some of the other ones on the market. I can’t really do much dairy anymore, so this is a wonderful switch so I can continue to enjoy my morning coffee.
Oat milk is so danged good with coffee, like you’ve said, it complements and enhances if you still want to taste COFFEE (not that there’s anything wrong with wanting to drink dessert).
