The Best Pumpkin Spice Creamer for Your At-Home PSLs

The best pumpkin spice creamer really makes it feel like fall. Even when the leaves are stubbornly not changing colors and the temperature is still hitting the 80s in the afternoon, a cup of coffee spiked with something sweet, creamy, and loaded with seasonal spices is a good shortcut to that fall feeling.

In two separate taste tests, we tried many popular brands of pumpkin spice coffee creamer, including Chobani pumpkin spice creamer, Starbucks pumpkin spice creamer, and Dunkin’ pumpkin spice creamer—not all of them made the cut! Some pumpkin spice creamers are so strongly flavored that they overpower the taste of coffee. We still want to taste coffee when we drink coffee. Others just didn’t have enough pumpkin spice flavor. We were looking for pumpkin spice creamers that are just right. And we found a few—sugar free pumpkin spice creamer included. Here’s our definitive list to make your PSL season sweeter.

Best Sugar Free

International Delight Zero Sugar Pumpkin Pie Spice Coffee Creamer

I am not a big fan of sugar-free products, but International Delight’s Zero Sugar Pumpkin Pie Spice Coffee Creamer is good! It’s not super creamy and it does smell like a Bath & Body Works candle, but do not let that deter you if you are in need of a sugar-free coffee creamer. The pumpkin spice flavor is robust. It’s not too sweet. This is definitely the best sugar free pumpkin spice creamer you can buy. —Jordan Myrick

Non-Dairy Runner Up

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Non-Dairy Almondmilk & Oatmilk Coffee Creamer

If you’re looking for a non-dairy pumpkin spice creamer that has a good amount of spice, try Starbucks’ version! It has a nice bite to contrast the sweetness. I also really like that the almond flavor in the almond milk complements the toasted flavors of the pumpkin spice. It’s not as creamy as Silk (see: #4), so this might be the best pumpkin spice creamer option for people who like their coffee on the lighter side. Best Non-Dairy

Silk Pumpkin Spice Dairy-Free Almond Milk Coffee Creamer

Silk’s almond-based, dairy-free pumpkin spice coffee creamer rivals full-fat dairy creamers in terms of creaminess. It is so rich and luscious, especially for a vegan milk substitute. It’s heavy on the pumpkin and mild on the spice. There’s much more sweetness than bite. Personally, I prefer that, so this was my favorite of the group. Grab one of those big tumblers and fill it with this and coffee and you have the perfect beverage to drink while you walk around Target and look at Halloween decor. Best Real Cream

Chobani Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

I’m a sucker for Chobani coffee creamer. It’s thick and sweet and tastes like real dairy, because it’s made with actual cream rather than soybean oil and corn syrup like a lot of other flavored coffee creamers. I’m sorry if I sound like an ad, but you can really taste the quality! We tasted a few pumpkin spice creamers that are made with real cream, but this one has the most prominent and delicious pumpkin spice flavor. Believe me, I wanted to love Dunkin’s Pumpkin Munchkin creamer, but it just wasn’t flavorful enough once we stirred it into a fresh cup of coffee from the office Keurig. If you like real cream creamer, Chobani pumpkin spice creamer is the best pumpkin spice creamer. —Gwynedd Stuart
