Every week, the Sporked team sidles up to the tasting table and sets out to find the absolute best of the best packaged foods, the gold hidden in the grocery aisles. Each week we’ll bring you five standouts that truly rocked our taste buds and changed our lives—or at least our buying habits. Here are the best things we ate this week.
- Progresso Gluten Free Minestrone
-
This is one of the best gluten free products we’ve tried at Sporked. I often find gluten free pasta to be way too firm, but that is why it works perfectly in this Progresso minestrone. The little pieces of pasta don’t turn into mush like they do in so many other canned minestrones. On top of that, the broth is a little thick and tastes great. The beans are perfectly cooked. Last, but certainly not least, it’s super affordable for a gluten free dinner!
- Compartés Blueberry Muffin Chocolate Bar
-
Compartés tends to make really good chocolate bars. This blueberry muffin bar is one of the best I’ve had. It consists of great quality chocolate with a light blueberry flavor and whole dried blueberries. When you get a blueberry, it bursts with authentic fruity flavor. What a treat!
- Good & Gather Spinach Artichoke Dip
-
This tastes homemade. There’s also this wonderful artichoke-y flavor that’s so briny. It’s also nice and thick. There’s no way this stuff is falling off your chip. I would happily put this out on the table at a party. Everyone would say, “Wow! This is good!” and you would say, “Target! Can you believe?!”
- Bibigo Beef Pho Soup Dumplings
-
These are like pho in soup dumpling form. They are so tasty. Another wonderful bonus is that they come with a dipping sauce included. No other soup dumplings we tried had sauce packets. Last, but certainly not least, you microwave these. They’re such a quick meal. If you really want to up the pho factor, serve them topped with some thinly sliced white onion mixed with hoisin and sriracha and a squeeze of fresh lime. Yum!
- Trader Joe’s S’Mores Bars
-
Damn, Trader Joe’s! Good job! These S’Mores Bars are delicious. They’re rich and fudgey and a little salty. When you heat them up, it makes the whole room smell like toasted marshmallow. But, per usual with new Trader Joe’s products, they are limited time only so grab them before they’re gone!
