Burger King Is Giving Away Free Breakfast Through All of Next Week

Do you like free food? Of course you do. Do you like free food first thing in the morning? Of course you do! In a climate where money’s tight, fast food restaurants are doing literally everything in their power to get people back through their doors (the fact that you can get free food every day this March is proof of that). At Burger King, that means free breakfast items all week.

But what’s on offer? How do you get them? And what’s the catch? We’ve got the answers to all of that right here. 

What’s Burger King Giving Away Next Week?

Every day from Sunday, March 8, to Saturday, March 13, BK will be dishing out a different free breakfast item, starting with a Burrito Jr. on March 8. On March 9, you can get a free Croissan’wich, and you can score a free medium Iced Coffee on March 10 (let’s hope it’s a nice, warm day for that one). 

On Wednesday, March 11, it’s toast time, with a free five-piece of French Toast Sticks, and the following day you’ll be treated to a free Large Hash Browns. Finishing things off on March 13 is a free Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit – and, Royal Perks members will be able to get a small hot coffee for less Crowns than it’d normally cost – 150 instead of 200, in case you were wondering.

Are Those the Only Deals That Week?

Great question! No, they’re not! After its week of free breakfast food, March 14 sees Burger King celebrate Pi Day, in honor of everyone’s favorite incredibly long number. Pop into BK and grab a free Hershey’s Sundae Pie or Cinnamon Apple Pie when you spend $3.14 in-store (we would assume that you don’t have to spend exactly that, because, yeah. That would be annoying). 

Okay, But This Free Breakfast Food – How Do I Actually Get It? 

Well, you do have to spend a little bit of cash to qualify for your free breakfast item, but only $3. You also have to be a Royal Perks member. 

Why Is Burger King Suddenly Being So Generous?

We’re not totally sure, but we have a sense that the chain is riding high at the moment, and wants to spread the love – and to promote the big changes that are coming this year at the same time. Burger King recently announced that it was updating the Whopper, and we’d imagine there’s gonna be pretty significant hype around that, so luring people in with free food is the perfect way to hit them over the head with marketing. The promo for that has taken slightly less traditional forms, too: The Burger King president’s response to the infamous McDonald’s CEO video will do nothing but put the Whopper back in people’s good graces.

We love it when the fast-food wars ramp up; we really do. Oh, and that new Whopper is pretty good — we’ve tried it, so we’d know.
