Who can resist the allure of BuzzBallz? Well, probably a fair few people, but not us. These ready-to-go cocktails have taken the world by storm over the last few years, thanks both to the array of flavors on offer and to their sheer appearance: That globular container does a lot of work here, guys, and it’s part of why these drinks remain so appealing.

In the last few months, those little spheres have been everywhere, with Elf-themed Buzzballz, a Buzzballz menu at Applebee’s, and – slightly more left-field here – a BuzzBallz engagement ring for Valentine’s Day. Now, though, it’s going for what many would say is the clearest move yet: It’s releasing SoccerBallz, flavors inspired by the World Cup, which kicks off very soon. Let’s take a look.
SoccerBallz: Maybe Don’t Drink Them If You’re Planning On Playing
SoccerBallz are, like all of BuzzBallz’ products, ready-to-go cocktails – and as you might expect from the nature of the collaboration, each can has a very soccer-y vibe, with most of them bearing a print that makes them look like the balls themselves. They’re probably slightly less useful for kicking around, but hey, if you’re in a pinch!
As for the flavors, BuzzBalls has gone for a country theme here (for the most part, anyway), and it’s offering eight options for soccer fans. These options are:
- Flags & Freedom: An orange and pineapple cocktail, released in honor of the US of A.
- Fuego Tamarita: BuzzBallz is taking the classic twist on a margarita here and canning it, although tamaritas normally have tamarind in them – and this one has watermelon. Hey, we’re not complaining! This is BuzzBallz’ Mexico-inspired flavor.
- Pip Pip Punch: A BuzzBall for England here, featuring a fruit punch flavor. As a Brit, I’ll let the clichéd name slide, just this time.
- Smashentina: Melon and peppery notes combine here for this Argentina-inspired flavor.
- Sol Siesta: This Spain-oriented drink is a take on a sangria.
- Caipi Crush: Judging by the name and the country that this one is focused on (Brazil), we’d say this is pretty clearly BuzzBallz’ caipirinha-themed cocktail, and it bears a citrus twist.
- Goaaaal-Melon: The first of BuzzBallz’ non-country-specific cocktails, this one’s more a general celebration of soccer – and what better way to celebrate it than with melon and citrus?
- Soccer Lime-Rita: Aaaand the second non-country-specific cocktail here, this one’s a classic margarita twist, but made with agave wine.
As is the case with BuzzBallz, each SoccerBallz cocktail is fairly strong, with the ABV ranging from 13.5% to 15%.
Where, And When, Can I Find Them?
You can find them starting now, and they’re rolling out nationwide – and SoccerBallz will be in multiple sizes too. That said, they’re limited-time items, and they won’t last for long after the World Cup. RTD beverage collectors, you’ll want to act now if you want to get ‘em.
