There I was, writing about how Capri Sun is launching adult serving sizes, when I thought, “What is the best Capri Sun flavor?” One convincing email later, 17 boxes of Capri Sun flavors are being delivered to my house.
Disclaimer: There are a couple flavors listed on the Capri Sun website that we couldn’t track down before the date I had to have these Capri Sun flavors ranked. Rest assured, I’m still dedicated to discovering all the worst and best Capri Sun flavors. When I can find them, I’ll be sure to slot them in here.
Here are 17 Capri Sun flavors ranked from the worst to the all-time best Capris Sun flavor.

- Capri Sun 100% Berry Juice
-
Despite being called “berry” juice, this Capri Sun juice drink is actually a blend of apple, grape, and strawberry juices. That should be a slam dunk, but it is seriously funky. Finishing this pouch upset my stomach to such a degree that I ended up taking a nap before trying any more flavors.

- Capri Sun Splash Cooler
-
Tart on tart on tart. This Capri Sun pouch was unpleasant right down to the apple core, making it easily the worst of the standard Capri Sun flavors.

- Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Grape
-
This Capri Sun pouch should be sued for false advertising. I’m not sure how, but they completely forgot to put the grape into this grape-flavored water pouch. It has the slightest grape aftertaste, but the primary taste I got from slamming this entire pouch was stevia.

- Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Berry
-
While this was better than the stomach destroyer that is Capri Sun Berry, it’s still just bad. We must stop the berry menace before it infiltrates every single Capri Sun variation.

- Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Strawberry Kiwi
-
Not to nitpick, but this Capri Sun pouch should really be called Kiwi Strawberry. They could probably get away with only calling it Kiwi, but who’d buy that? And that stevia taste stands out in a bad way.

- Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Tropical Punch
-
I just wish there was more of the advertised cherry in here. All Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters flavors suffer from a lack of punchiness, but this one really reminded me of that free “infused” water you can get in a hotel lobby. If you need it, it’s fine; if there are literally any other options, you’re leaving it behind.

- Capri Sun Lemonade
-
This was super watery despite not being a Roarin’ Waters flavor. Veering away from “too sweet” and “too tart” leaves this Capri Sun juice drink in a very bland middle place.

- Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Fruit Punch
-
I’m sure this must be amazing for the kids raised by parents who don’t let them drink anything with more than a “natural” amount of sugar. But it just didn’t stick the landing for me.

- Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Wild Cherry
-
This was the best Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters flavor, but as you can tell from the score, that isn’t saying much. Of all the flavors to have both standard and Roarin’ Waters variants, Wild Cherry was the most indistinguishable.

- Capri Sun Wild Cherry
-
Oh look, I found the cherry they forgot to put in Roarin’ Waters Tropical Punch! This has a strong flavor, if a little uninteresting. Can we get this replaced with some sort of Wild Cherry Lemonade?

- Capri Sun Fruit Punch
-
I saved trying this flavor for last, assuming it was the best Capri Sun flavor by default. But assumptions like that are why doing these rankings is so much fun—and so important. This was solidly okay! After tasting this Capri Sun pouch, I’m even more confused why they chose this to be the first jugged flavor.

- Capri Sun Mountain Cooler
-
This Capri Sun juice drink is advertised as apple and raspberry, and they actually delivered! We’re 12 Capri Suns deep into this Capri Sun marathon, and they’re finally delivering on the advertised fruits. It is truly refreshing.

- Capri Sun Strawberry Kiwi
-
Both fruits on the label are distinguishable when you sip this Capri Sun flavor! There’s definitely more noticeable strawberry flavor here than in the Roarin’ Waters variant. This is a classic for a reason.

- Capri Sun Pacific Cooler
-
We’ve officially entered the highest echelon of pouched Capri Sun juice drinks—the best Capri Sun flavors. This tastes like good cherry and pineapple. Of all the coolers, this is certainly the coolest.

- Capri Sun 100% Watermelon Juice
-
Finally, they’ve liquified watermelon Jolly Ranchers to sell in pouch form! This is easily the sweetest-tasting drink in the entire lineup. So, if you’re searching for the best Capri Sun flavor to deliver a shock of sugar, this is the one for you.

- Capri Sun 100% Apple Juice
-
It’s apple juice in a Capri Sun pouch. And it’s good. In fact, it’s one of the best Capri Sun flavors. Sometimes, simplicity is best. This is what was missing from my life.

- Capri Sun Tropical Punch
-
Orange, strawberry, and lime, this is a winning combination. I don’t get any of the pineapple they claim is in here, but I’m not complaining in the slightest. Start selling this in jugs and I’ll be first in line. It’s the best Capri Sun flavor of them all.
