Chick-fil-A Just Turned Chicken & Waffles Into A Sandwich

Chick-fil-A has announced a brand-new fall lineup packed with sweet, savory and seriously nostalgic flavors. In fact, the new menu is part of Chick-fil-A’s 2026 “Newstalgia” celebration, which marks the company’s 80th anniversary with a mix of throwback flavors and fresh menu ideas.

The Star Of The Show: Chicken And Waffles

Chicken and waffles already make a pretty unbeatable team, but Chick-fil-A is taking things one step further by turning the combo into a sandwich.

The new Chicken & Waffles Sandwich starts with maple-flavored waffles instead of traditional sandwich buns. Inside is Chick-fil-A’s chicken filet, applewood smoked bacon and honey butter spread. A side of syrup comes with the sandwich, too, so there is no need to wonder if it needs an extra hit of sweetness. It absolutely can get one.

There is also a choice of chicken. The sandwich can be ordered with an original, spicy or grilled filet, giving fans a few ways to try their ideal sweet-and-savory bite.

Going Beyond Breakfast

This is where Chick-fil-A’s new menu gets especially exciting. The chain has previously tested its Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich and larger Chicken & Waffles Sandwich at select restaurants.

Now the sandwich is going nationwide. The breakfast version will be available during Chick-fil-A’s normal breakfast hours and uses a smaller chicken filet and waffle. Then, starting at 10:30AM, the larger entrée version takes over through closing. So the Chicken & Waffles idea can officially stretch from breakfast into lunch and dinner.

So someone craving maple waffles and chicken at lunchtime can actually order the larger version without setting an alarm.

S’mores Are Coming For Dessert

Chicken and waffles may be the main attraction, but Chick-fil-A is also bringing some exciting desserts to the menu.

The new S’mores Milkshake is made with Chick-fil-A’s Icedream dessert, marshmallow-flavored syrup, chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles. It is finished with marshmallow-flavored whipped topping for an extra creamy finish.

Basically, Chick-fil-A took the classic campfire s’mores trio of chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallow and gave it a milkshake makeover.

The S’mores Frosted Coffee Is Getting In On The Fun

Coffee fans are getting their own version of the s’mores craze.

The S’mores Frosted Coffee combines Chick-fil-A’s cold-brewed coffee with Icedream and marshmallow-flavored syrup. Chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles are mixed into the drink, giving it the same familiar s’mores flavor as the milkshake.

August 24th Is The Big Day

Chick-fil-A has been revisiting familiar flavors while giving them new twists, including its permanent Frosted Sodas and Floats, which pair Icedream with fountain drinks. The new Chicken & Waffles and S’mores lineup fits right into that idea.

The new menu will arrive at Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide on August 24th. All items are part of the limited-time fall lineup, with availability expected to last while supplies last.
