There’s nothing I love more than cookies—I’m a self proclaimed cookie monster if you will. There’s something so satisfying and nostalgic about taking a bite into a cookie that instantly brings me back to childhood. Last month, I tried the new Toy Story graham cracker cookie (and it was delicious) and since then, I’ve been keeping up with all of the brand’s newest flavors.

Now with the popularity of blind boxes, Chips Ahoy has decided to hop on the bandwagon with its latest innovation. Enter: Chips Ahoy Mystery Cookie. 

Chips Ahoy Released A Mystery Cookie And Fans Have To Decode The New Flavor

Yes, you read that right. Chips Ahoy is launching a mystery flavor for a limited time and fans have to decode it to figure out what it is. The packaging will feature an unidentifiable cookie surrounded by spooky caution tape adding to the mystery. 

According to the brand in a press release, the limited-edition release hints at a flavor that’s glitched into our world from another dimension. (Maybe cosmic brownie? Galactic swirl? We have no clue—just throwing some ideas out there.)

To help lead the investigation the brand’s cookie mascot, Chip, will help fans decode the mystery flavor and fix the glitch once and for all.

Looking to get your hands on the new Chips Ahoy mystery flavor? You’ll find them available for early purchase in limited quantities exclusively on SnackWorks’ TikTok Shop. 

Don’t have TikTok or want to buy it in person? The cookies will start rolling out at major retailers nationwide starting on August 10th and will be available for a limited time. You’ll want to keep your eyes peeled on the cookie aisle because we suspect they will fly off the shelves very quickly at the beginning. 

It’s also worth noting that Chips Ahoy will also launch a national sweepstakes that same day, inviting fans to submit their flavor guess of the mystery flavor for a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize, along with other daily prizes. When Will The Chips Ahoy Mystery Flavor Be Announced? 

You’ll have a little over two months to figure out what the Chips Ahoy mystery flavor is formally announced. It will be officially unveiled on October 31st on the Chips Ahoy social media accounts. (We recommend setting up notifications closest to the date so you don’t miss out.)
