Food brands don’t wait around. Case in point: everything we’re seeing at the NACS Show. The National Association of Convenience Stores is currently holding its annual convention in Las Vegas, and major brands have flocked to the City of Sin to showcase their upcoming snacks to a room full of retailers, industry watchers, and people who are just kinda interested in what’s going to be on sale in 2027. If you ever wanted to get a sneak peek of what food companies are preoccupied with in terms of trends and tastes, it’s the place to be.

One such brand has taken up residence in the Las Vegas Convention Center this week (at booth number 1463, no less!), where it’s previewing some of the new snacks it’ll be bringing to stores next year. Let’s take a look at what’s coming.

Conagra Snacks

Conagra Brands, which makes Banquet meals, Duncan Hines cake mixes, Jiffy Pop, and plenty more besides, is previewing items in three categories this year: Meat snacks, seeds, and salty snacks. Let’s take a look at what’s going on, category-by-category and brand-by-brand.

Meat Snacks

  • Slim Jim: First up, Conagra is offering visitors the chance to try its new Slim Jim Cheese Mode sticks, which combine meat with a cheese interior to deliver 10 grams of protein. They’re available in both Cheddar and Cheddar & Jalapeño flavors. The Slim Jim lineup also has flavors from its collab with Buffalo Wild Wings, with Honey BBQ and Buffalo sticks, and Slim Jim Sriracha sticks, which will be available this fall.
  • FATTY: FATTY Smoked Meat Sticks are also on offer at Conagrad’s booth, with its Original and Honey BBQ flavors up for grabs.
  • Duke’s: Visitors can try Duke’s Maple Black Pepper Sausages, the upcoming addition to the Duke’s Smoked Shorty Sausages lineup, which will be available at stores soon. You can also sample its existing flavors, like Original, Hot & Spicy, and Hatch Green Chile.
  • Penrose: Pickled sausages? You got it. Penrose pickled sausages are on offer at the Conagra booth, in Big Mama and Tijuana Mama flavors.

Seeds

  • BiGS Seeds: Look out for two new Triple Blast BiGS Sunflower Seeds coming soon: Pickle Ranch and Spicy Sweet Chili flavors. These new flavors will come in 5 oz. bags.
  • DAVID Seeds: DAVID Seeds will be a big presence at the Conagra stall, where the company is celebrating its partnership with baseball star Aaron Judge with a limited-edition Sweet & Spicy flavor. Later this year, customers can also expect to see a new 5.25 oz. bag size for its Nacho Cheese seeds.

Salty Snacks

Disclaimer: There doesn’t seem to be anything totally brand new on the salty snacks front, but we may as well talk about what you can sample if you happen to be in the vicinity of Conagra’s stall, huh?

  • Vlasic: It’s pickle time! Conagra is building on the never-ending pickle craze with its Vlasic Pickle Balls, available in both Original and Spicy flavors.
  • Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP: Popcorn fans assemble, as Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP has taken up its Las Vegas residency (for this week, anyway). Try out its Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn.
  • Andy Capp’s: Andy Capp’s is showcasing its Hot Fries this year in Las Vegas. You may have tried them before, but if not…here you go.

So! Some cool new stuff to look forward to here (those meat sticks sound fun, if a little hybrid-ish), and some pre-existing favorites. Onward!
