Crabfest is Here and Better than Ever Before

It’s time to get really excited. The best summer drop just happened at Red Lobster. That’s right, it’s time for Crabfest! Crabfest might be the best promotion for Red Lobster. Unlike Lobsterfest and endless shrimp, crab isn’t always on the regular menu. We’re ready to grab our bibs and crackers and head down to our local RL and delight in some succulent, buttery crab.

Red Lobster is upping the ante too and making this Crabfest even better than before. There are new flavors, new offerings, and even themed drinks! We cannot wait to dig into this menu while it’s available. 

Crabfest’s Brand New Menu

Continuing with last year’s popular addition, Red Lobster has the Crabfest boil back. A whole pound of crab legs, shrimp, corn, and potatoes all boiled with butter and seasonings in a bag and served the way a boil should be? Yes please! We’re drooling already.

But that’s not all they’ve got. They’ve added Crab Your Way. Which is a pound of either Snow or Bairdi crab with one of six flavoring options. The options are all great sounding, so you might need a few dinners to figure out the best. We’ve got Roasted Garlic, Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Old Bay & Butter Sauce, Red Lobster Signature, and the new Mike’s Hot Honey. Old Bay & Butter and Roasted Garlic are really calling me. But they all sound like delightful ways to enjoy crab. 

Not a fan of cracking those legs yourself? Red Lobster’s got you covered with several other smothered dishes. First, you can get salmon, sirloin, or filet smothered with a rich, creamy sauce full of lump crab meat. But that wasn’t enough for them―they smothered some sides, too. Get either asparagus or baked potato crab topped. Or both! We won’t judge you. It’s Crabfest after all. If there were ever a time to be a little crabby? It’s right now. Feeling a little Italian rather than meat and potatoes? Get the crab and shrimp alfredo for a sea worthy pasta dish. 

Brand New Appetizers And Drinks

And let’s not forget apps. No good meal is complete without them and Red Lobster made sure the crab was everywhere. They’ve got two appetizer crab options. A sinful crab queso and indulgent stuffed seafood mushrooms topped with more of the decadent, creamy crab sauce. 

We didn’t forget the drinks. There may have been a little distraction with the crabalicious food (who can blame us?), but we’re getting to the drinks now. Red Lobster has three tropical drinks that perfectly complement Crabfest. 

• Magical Blue Hawaiian ― Malibu Coconut Rum with pineapple and citrus flavors, finished with a butterfly pea tea.
• Hula Punch ― Ketel One Vodka with peach and hibiscus flavors, topped with club soda.
• Lava Flow Margarita ― Espolòn Blanco Tequila and Malibu Coconut Rum mixed with strawberry hibiscus sour.

We’re ready for one of everything on the menu, please! Crabfest sounds like it’s set to be a true festival of crab. We’re ready to head out and try them for ourselves. Crabfest is happening right now, so don’t wait too long or these great options will be gone!
