Cracker Barrel Is Offering All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes For One Day Only

Another National Food Day is almost upon us! Finally, say approximately three people, while everyone else is left scratching their heads over what food is being honored in a fairly arbitrary way now. Last week, it was National Cheeseburger Day, and Burger King, Applebee’s, Denny’s, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, and plenty of others got involved with offers. In a few weeks, on October 6, we’ll have National Taco Day, for which Taco Bell is apparently releasing a sauce with…Duolingo.

Between those, though, we’ve got National Pancake Day on Saturday, September 26. And Cracker Barrel has decided to throw its hat in the ring once more for it by reviving a popular deal. 

More Pancakes, Please

This coming Saturday, Cracker Barrel is bringing back its All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Deal. For just $5, you can chow down on as many of its buttermilk pancakes as you can get through before your appetite gives up or before the store closes – whichever comes first. If you don’t like pancakes, this will, of course, all be meaningless; if you make a habit of having them every weekend, you’ll be running to your nearest Cracker Barrel. For reference, a standard order of two buttermilk pancakes costs around $6.29 (although this may be dependent on location), so even if you’re just having a couple, this will be a saving.

Cracker Barrel began teasing this deal last week with a video posted on its TikTok, which shows its pancakes being cooked – and it must be said that the restaurant really went cinematic here. In the opera-scored social media clip, its pancakes sizzle away on a griddle before pirouetting through the air gracefully and being smothered in syrup. It’s hard to class up pancakes, but it’s somehow managed it. 

Can You Beat The Record?

There will doubtless be a couple of people embarking on their own “Man v. Food”-style challenges this Saturday at Cracker Barrel, as there were last year. On a Reddit post discussing 2025’s all-you-can-eat deal, one Cracker Barrel employee said that someone managed to eat 24 – twenty-four – of its pancakes in one sitting. My stomach hurts just thinking about it. 

So far, Cracker Barrel seems to be the first out of the gate with its National Pancake Day offer, but we’d imagine we’ll get a few more restaurants getting in on the action before the week is out. Last year, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery and Corner Bakery Café also offered their own deals. We’ve still got five days to go.
