We’re on season 50 of Survivor. That’s a lot of immunity idols, precious bowls of rice, and tribes who have spoken. What better way to celebrate the silver jubilee than with a cold, thirst-quenching brewski? Dogfish Head has heard the call and answered with a limited edition Survivor beer—and it’s island appropriate.

What is the Dogfish Head x Survivor Beer?

The name of the beer is Coconut Etiquette. It’s a tropical hazy IPA that’s brewed with toasted coconut, passionfruit, and dehydrated coconut water (fun! weird!) and it comes in at 6.2% ABV.

The beer first debuted during the Survivor 50 Challenge, a nationwide scavenger hunt held in promotion of the show’s 50th anniversary. Dogfish Head’s Delaware Brewery was a featured location during the hunt, and they created this beer as a one-day offering for the 1,000-ish fans who came to the brewery to search for an idol.

How can you get this Survivor beer?

Coconut Etiquette is available tomorrow starting at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m EST at http://www.givethembeer.com as part of a special Dogfish Head x Survivor Season 50 Kit. The kit includes a 4-pack of 12oz cans of Coconut Etiquette, a Dogfish Head x Survivor pint glass, a Dogfish Head x Survivor sticker, and a Dogfish Head x Survivor Buff “multifunctional neckware,” and it all comes in a “castaway-themed” box. The price? It’s $50 plus shipping and handling.

There will be two more drops—one on May 6 and another on May 11 (right before the Survivor 50 finale). You’re limited to one kit per person and the kits (and the beer) will only be available while supplies last.

Justine Sterling

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
