The Ultimate Cereal Mixes, According to You

As a kid I always used to mix at least two cereals for breakfast because from a young age I cared deeply about the composition of the dishes I was served, especially with regard to textural variation and the depth and complexity of the flavors. Nah, I’m just joshing ya. I was a fan of having different colors of stuff so the milk would turn all funky. But as an adult living on my own, I find it hard to justify having more than one cereal in my apartment at a given time, and thus my opportunities for funky milk have greatly diminished. That’s where you come in, or rather, your Tweets. Back in January we had you answer a Twitter poll asking you, “If you could mix any two cereals into one box, what would you mix?” so here is a list of your glorious dream cereal mixes, and I can only hope that one day Big Cereal sees this and solves our adult dilemma of wanting to be able to buy multiple cereals in one box.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch + Honey Bunches of Oats

@GeneralMills Cinnamon Toast crunch with @postcereals Honey Bunches of Oats 🥵🤤 – @Yup84480598

I am going to be honest, @Yup84480598, I have had dreams about this combo. This would definitely be one of the best cereal mixes this world has ever seen.
Reese’s Puffs + Golden Grahams

Reese’s Puffs + Golden Grahams – @TheMissELF

Oh man, the peanut butter and graham crackers of the cereal world. I’m in.
Cap’n Crunch Oops! All Berries + Trix

Cap’n Crunch Oops! All Berries + Trix – @goldchainam

The sheer amount of colorful chaos this would produce means it HAS to happen. They can call it Oops! Trixed ya! Or Oops! Even More Berries! Essentially, I am on board with whatever name as long as it contains an “Oops!”
Frosted Flakes + Honey Nut Cheerios

Frosted Flakes and Honey Nut Cheerios – @sscryystal

I mean this one is just practical. The textures and flavors would be *mwah* chef’s kiss.
Special K Red Berries + Special K Chocolatey Delight

Special K Red Berries and Special K Chocolate! 😋 – @joyfulwalk77

I always wanted this as a kid. The freeze-dried strawberries and lil chocolate chunks would go together so well! They could market it as a healthy Valentine’s Day cereal (assuming no one else is already doing that and killing the Valentine’s Day healthy cereal game). Certainly one of my top dream cereal mixes.
Reese’s Puffs + Franken Berry

Reese’s Puffs + Franken Berry 🥜🍓 – @SpennyHiggs

PB AND J CEREAL?! @SpennyHiggs, you are a genius. This idea might just be one of the best cereal mixes out there. I have to try this.
Lucky Charms + Fruity Pebbles

Lucky Charms and Fruity Pebbles please – @IndieCardboard

If I had had this combo as a kid I probably would have passed out from sheer joy before I was even able to take a bite.
Cocoa Puffs + Golden Grahams

Cocoa Puffs and Golden Grahams – @Liz_Johnson_13

The classic s’mores. Add some little marshmallow bits in the mix and we are in business, baybee! It would be like the existing Honey Maid S’mores cereal but maybe…better? It would certainly make for an interesting bit of non-toy-related cereal aisle competition.
Apple Jacks + Cinnamon Toast Crunch

apple jacks and cinnamon toast crunch – @nagy_boh

Y’all suggested this one a lot and I get why: apple pie-flavored cereal sounds utterly divine. And Imagine the MILK. oh my goodness.
CTC + CTC

Cinnamon Toast Crunch & Cinnamon Toast Crunch – @Malchus214

I mean. @Malchus214 you are not wrong, my friend. This combo is so crazy it just might work.
