Haagen-Dazs is releasing Mini Dubai Style Chocolate Ice Cream Bars

According to a post from @markie_devo on Instagram (who cites a “major store manager” and ordering guide as sources), Haagen-Dazs is about to drop new mini-ice cream bars inspired by Dubai chocolate. You get pistachio ice cream enrobed in milk chocolate, studded with crispy kataifi (phyllo shreds).

When will these new ice cream bars be available?

Per @markie_devo, they should be arriving “soon.” And it sounds like they’ll be available nationwide at major grocery stores.

Will these new Haagen-Dazs bars be any good?

Yes. They will be. Seriously, I haven’t been let down by a Haagen-Dazs product yet and their most recent releases (peanut butter brittle ice cream, chocolate cherry ice cream, chocolate cherry ice cream bars) prove that they are still putting in maximum effort and achieving maximum results. Plus Haagen-Dazs makes some of the best pistachio ice cream (see our ranking for proof). The ice cream contains actual nuts, though, and my guess is that these mini ice cream bars will be smooth on the inside so as not to distract from the crispy crunch of the kataifi in the chocolate coating.

Stay tuned for a review here, because if this turns out to be true I’ll be snagging a pack ASAP!

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
