We’ve all been under the spell (or, perhaps, the thumb) of Big Pistachio in the last 18 months or so. Dubai-style chocolate is, we say once more, absolutely everywhere, and there have been countless versions of the candy – to the point where pistachio flavors, which are central to the style, have started to feel a little boring. A little overdone. And we’re feeling like we need a bit of a break from them.

In the endless soup of pistachio products, though, now and again, someone gets it really right. Back in June 2025, that was Dunkin’, with a limited-time latte that turned heads and broke hearts. Time for a throwback (to 12 months ago).
Dunkin’s Pistachio Signature Latte: A Brief History
Dunkin’s Pistachio Signature Latte was part of its 2025 summer menu, which the chain dropped at the end of April of that year. Although there was a host of new and returning items on the menu, it was the pistachio-flavored latte that really stood out. Made with espresso, milk, and a pistachio flavor swirl, it was nutty, creamy, and sweet (thanks to the caramel drizzle) all at once. The waffle cone topping also gave it a crunchy texture that elevated it from being a mere drink. For some, it was an event.
And Then It Disappeared?
Yes, it disappeared. This probably shouldn’t be any surprise, to be honest: It was part of a summer menu, and these things always fade out of existence after a month or two. However, its discontinuation caused a lot more of a stir than most other limited-time menu items do, simply due to the fact that people absolutely loved it. The rumblings started towards the end of June on Facebook, when customers started questioning whether it had indeed been removed from the menu, and others chimed in to confirm that yes, it had. “All gonna need to protest to get it back,” said one person, while another said, almost forlornly, “Oh no. My favorite.” We can feel the emotion through the screen!
Any Chance Of A Comeback?
So far, it doesn’t look like it – unless you’re in Singapore. A few weeks ago, Dunkin’ Singapore announced that it was releasing an Iced Pistachio Latte and Iced Pistachio Milk. Meanwhile, in the US, Dunkin’ has just announced a Barbie collab, but no return of the Pistachio Signature Latte. The chain isn’t averse to bringing back old favorites by any means, but until it announces a remount, everyone will have to sit tight.
