It can be hard to get inspiration in a big-box store like Sam’s Club. Yes, bulk-buying is great, but it’s often the case that we end up with a load of stuff just in case, instead of for something specific. Sam’s Club’s prepared section, with the likes of its chicken tikka masala meal kit, might offer salvation and some ready-to-go dinners – but sometimes you want to do the work yourself (and not spend a load of money on something that’s already been made).

Well, here we come, with some (hopeful) salvation. We did breakfast ideas at Costco, and now we’re doing dinner ideas at Sam’s Club. Use these purchases as a jumping-off point.
Member’s Mark Rotisserie Chicken
There’s a lot you can do with a rotisserie chicken, both when it’s fresh and with the leftovers – and Sam’s Club’s is no different from the rest. Grab a Member’s Mark Rotisserie Chicken and some flour tortillas, and a large jar of salsa. Then, shred the chicken with a couple of forks, warm up the tortillas, combine the two, add the salsa on top, and finish with some avocado and shredded cheese. A meal in minutes.
Member’s Mark Brioche Buns
This one also exists in the “shredded meat” space, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t delicious. Member’s Mark Brioche Buns are the ideal jumping-off point for pulled pork sliders. You can make your own pulled pork, or you can grab a pack of the Member’s Mark hardwood-smoked version.
Member’s Mark Chicken Sausage Variety Pack
Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark Chicken Sausage Variety Pack is a purchase worth making: With a 4.8 out of 5 average rating from more than 2,600 reviews, it’s a fan favorite, and the store opts for interesting flavors here (Double Berry Gouda and Mushroom Fontina). You can use these for a bunch of different things, and they’re great as hot dogs – but I would personally slice them up and use them to top a fettuccine Alfredo.
Member’s Mark French Baguette
Banh mi is one of those things that feels a touch more complicated than it is – but all you need is a couple of ingredients and a bit of time. Grab some Member’s Mark French Baguettes, some tofu, some herbs, and some vegetables, and you’ve got the starting points for a vegetarian banh mi. Quick-pickle the veggies, grill the tofu, and put everything together. Perfect for hot weather.
Member’s Mark Mediterranean Kale Pasta Salad
Speaking of hot weather…! This one’s a bit of a cheat because we did literally just talk about doing the work yourself, but if you want an easy side that feels fresh, light, and hassle-free, this one would be our pick. Member’s Mark Mediterranean Kale Pasta Salad is an excellent accompaniment to grilled meats, or you can pan-sear some salmon and lay it over the top. Alternatively, sauté some shrimp in butter, squeeze some lemon over them at the end, and serve alongside this pasta salad. It’s summer in a bowl, and we’ll be damned if it isn’t enjoyable.
