Think hot dog season is winding down since the Fourth of July is over? I’ve got news for you! While July 4th may be the most widely celebrated hot dog holiday, there’s another day this month that I’d argue is even more important: National Hot Dog Day, which falls on July 15th.

And if you like hot dogs, grilled up at home or from your favorite fast food spot, you’re not going to want to miss the deals 7-Eleven is offering for National Hot Dog Day. The convenience store is always a staple stop for hot dogs fresh off the roller grill, and you can nab one (or more!) of them during this once-a-year event at a discount.

“Mix and Match” Roller Grill Favorites

There’s really no better way to celebrate a holiday that’s all about hot dogs than with a roller grill classic―classic hot dog or sausage, that is. On July 15th, 7-Eleven is offering a special “Mix and Match” deal that gives customers any two roller grill items for just $3.50. That includes the Big Bite hot dog as well as other options, such as the new Johnsonville Dr. Pepper Sausage. 

$1 Taquitos

Sure, taquitos aren’t technically hot dogs, even though dogs come in many forms, but there’s a little overlap. After all, both taquitos and hot dogs feature meat wrapped in a bread-like “bun”―you’re just working with a tortilla instead of a fluffy hot dog bun when you opt for a taquito. 

And through National Hot Dog Day on July 15th, 7-Eleven is offering discounted taquitos for… well, for hot dog enthusiasts and taquito fans alike. You can stop by 7-Eleven stores to take advantage of a special deal: taquitos are just $1 each. Pick up as many as you can stomach right off the grill and you’ve got yourself one satisfyingly low-priced bite (or meal!).

How To Get The Deals

If you’re ready to celebrate the year’s annual hot dog holiday with low-priced 7-Eleven staples, the above deals are total steals. However, you’ll need to know the stipulations before heading to your closest store.

Deals may vary slightly depending on whether you stop by your local 7-Eleven convenience store or a Speedway or Stripes alternative. The 2 for $3.50 “Mix and Match” deal, for example, is available at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide as well as Speedway and Stripes stores. 

The $1 taquitos deal is available at 7-Eleven and Speedway locations. You’ll also need to be a member of 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards (depending on which chain you visit) in order to take advantage of this limited-time offer.
