This round of recalls this week has a bit of everything. There’s an equal splitting of allergens and bacteria contamination. Not that one should win over the other, just something to note I suppose. In other news, I should have knocked on wood when I commended the industry for not having any recalls to expand upon for the week. That has come back around, so lesson learned on that front. Anyway, here are the recalls to know about this week.

Ready to Bake Cookie Dough ― Soy
Bear Stewart LLC has recalled a single lot of their Bakr Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Ready To Bake Cookie Dough pouches. This is due to a possible contamination of undeclared soy. Affected cookie dough pouches were distributed in southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, and Utah through Target stores starting on June 11, 2026. The product can be identified by lot number 2606022, which can be found on the bottom left corner on the rear side of the pouch.
Soft Ricotta Cheese, Mexican Cottage Cheese ― Listeria
La Ceiba Foods Latin Market Inc. has called for a recall of Requesón Salvadoreño (Salvadoran Cottage Cheese) and Requesón Mexicano (Mexican Cottage Cheese) products marketed under the La Colonia and Selectos Latinos brands. There is a concern of listeria contamination with the products listed. The affected products were distributed to supermarkets, retail stores, and restaurants in the states of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
Affected products include soft ricotta cheese under the La Colonia brand, ricotta style Salvadorean style cheese and Mexican cottage cheese under the Selectos Latinos brand, and buket of requeson (a 18lb bucket of ricotta cheese) under the Clover Hill brand. All products have an expiration date of July 10, 2026.
TNVitamins and Doctor’s Pride Moringa Capsules ― Salmonella
Total Nutrition has expanded their recall due to a risk of salmonella contamination that was started a few weeks ago. This round of recalled products include TNVitamins 100% Organic Moringa Capsules 1,200 mg and TNVitamins 100% Organic Moringa Powder with lot numbers 2800 and 2782 respectively. The recalled product was distributed nationally through the online platforms, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and Target, as well as the company’s website.
Raw Boneless Chicken Breast ― Eggs
A public health alert for Private Selection’s Honey Dijon Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts with Rib Meat has been announced. A recall was not issued as the product is no longer being sold. The chicken breasts that contain eggs can be identified by a best-if-used-by date of June 28, 2026 and lot code 15326A. These items were shipped to Kroger and Fred Meyer retail stores in Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oregon, and Washington.
