To celebrate this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th through 8th), whiskey company Fireball is offering a unique way to celebrate a teacher in your life by giving them a chance to hide their drinking in plain sight.

Fireball is selling a unique new flask

They’re selling a “Fireball Blazin’ Apple Flask,” which looks exactly like a real green apple, right down to a little produce sticker on the side. But just remove the hidden cap, and you’ll reveal a hidden, refillable flask full of 50 milliliters of Fireball Blazin’ Apple Whiskey. It’s the perfect gift for any teacher that wants to secretly hide their alcohol from their students or the administration.

Should you really buy a teacher a Fireball flask?

Of course, Fireball isn’t promoting drinking during classes, as their press release describes the flask as “Part nostalgic gag, part after-hours reward, it’s the kind of ‘you made it through the school year’ gift that finally gets used once the last bell rings.” And lets be honest, 50 mL isn’t a huge amount of alcohol, as it’s slightly less than a double shot of whiskey. So, it probably does fit more in the “gag gift” category than a regular flask. (And I’ve certainly known a couple teachers who would probably love this.)
