Flamin’ Cool Cheetos Could Be Coming Soon

There are certain rumors that, when we hear them, seem too good to be true. Well, apparently Cheetos has been cooking up a storm, and our trusted source here at Sporked has led us down a bit of a confusing path. You see, what do you do with a rumor when it comes from someone you trust and yet it seems genuinely impossible? Whether or not someone’s yanking our chain, we had to do a little digging because our curiosity’s officially piqued.

At this point, we all know and love Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. But what if the “hot” aspect was removed? And no, I’m not talking about a cheesy lime crisp. But, what if instead of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos we had Flamin’ Cool Cheetos? At this point, this rumor has left us with more questions than answers. But we’re gonna do our best to break it down for you so we can all anticipate this Cheetos launch together.

What Should We Expect It To Taste Like?

When I think of something that’s so cooling that it becomes spicy, my mind immediately goes to something very minty. Think, a swig of Listerine. And, the compliment of a lime flavor with something like that wouldn’t even be super out of the ordinary, because we see that combination frequently in things like Mojitos.

What is confusing to me is whether or not it will be herby. If the flavor ends up being something along the line of a spicy, savory, mint chutney then I could see it being incredibly delicious. But if they try to make the spice into something cooling only through artificial means, then this is gonna be a harder flavor to sell. Especially if people don’t know what to expect. Nonetheless this elusive flavor identity is really only building up our curiosity and anticipation of more information.

When Will It Be Out?

With a launch this unique, the anticipation is certainly there. Whether it ends up being good or bad, we have got to get to the bottom of this. But, that just makes the wait time until it hits shelves so much more tedious. For these, I’m very sorry to say that the rumored release date isn’t until 2027. Even worse, it’s not until June. But, fear not. We here at Sporked will not only do everything in our power to keep you all informed as more information about this rumored release comes out, but we’ll be the first to let you know whether or not this launch was even worth the long wait.
