Ghirardelli’s New Chocolate Line Might Be Its Fanciest Yet

We’re never far away from Ghirardelli news – but even by our standards, 2026 has been a busy one. Ghirardelli has been putting out a bumper crop of new products this year, in what feels like an attempt to expand its line considerably. All of them have been in line with its typically fancy feel, with its new brownie mix, new cookie dough flavors, and new sundae (which was released for the World Cup) feeling both accessible and just that bit more special than those made by other brands.

We’d understand, then, if it decided to lean back, relax, and enjoy the summer – but oh, no. Instead, Ghirardelli is doubling down and introducing a new line of premium milk chocolate bars. We’re sat. Let’s check ‘em out.

Ghirardelli Premium Milk Chocolate Bars

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company announced the launch of its new Premium Milk Chocolate Bars yesterday, and according to the brand itself, they’re an attempt to make this universally beloved confectionery fancier. “Premium Milk Chocolate Bars represent an exciting innovation for Ghirardelli,” said Ghirardelli Chocolate Company’s VP, head of marketing, Bobby Oliver, via a press release. “Milk chocolate remains one of the most beloved chocolate categories, and we saw an opportunity to bring a new level of attention and care to it. The result is a bar that brings together the quality and chocolate expertise that have long defined the Ghirardelli brand.”

Well, three bars. Ghirardelli’s Premium Milk Chocolate Bars are coming in three varieties:

• Premium Milk Chocolate: Simple, but oh, so effective.
• Premium Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Almond: A combination of milk chocolate with roasted almonds and a sprinkle of sea salt. One for the sweet-salty fans out there, of which there are, we’re sure, many. 
• Premium Milk Chocolate Caramel Crisp: Ooh, boy. Like the sound of this one. Milk chocolate with crunchy caramel pieces and crisped rice. Let’s go, texture!

When Can I Get These New Chocolate Bars?

Right now! Ghirardelli’s new chocolate bars are on sale at major retailers, including Walmart, Target, Kroger, CVS, and Walgreens, and are also available on its website — where you’ll find the rest of the brand’s product line and all of its other new (or new-ish) items. Given that fall and winter are just around the corner, we’d imagine that Ghirardelli has a couple of tricks up its sleeve before the year is out.
