The brand just launched a new Apple Butter Coffee Cake Creamer, and I’m not going to lie: “apple butter coffee cake” is an extremely specific thing to pour into your coffee.

International Delight’s new seasonal creamer combines the flavors of sweet apple butter and coffee cake, essentially taking two things you might eat on a chilly fall morning and putting them in your coffee instead.

The 32-ounce creamer is available for a limited time and International Delight says it’s designed to work in hot or iced coffee, cold brew, and even dirty soda. 

The brand is positioning the flavor as part of a growing interest in apple-flavored foods. According to data cited by International Delight from Spate, searches for “apple flavor” are up 349% on Google and 208% on TikTok year over year.

So maybe pumpkin spice should be nervous.

And apple butter coffee cake feels like a strong contender. It’s sweet, fruity, buttery, and baked-good adjacent without being yet another variation of apple pie. International Delight describes the flavor as sweet apple butter with the taste of freshly baked coffee cake, which sounds dangerously close to having dessert before you’ve even started your workday.

The Pumpkin Spice Of It All

Before the pumpkin people start panicking, International Delight isn’t abandoning its most famous fall coffee flavor.

The brand is bringing back its Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer in both Traditional and Zero Sugar varieties, along with Pumpkin Pie Spice Cold Foam Creamer and Pumpkin Pie Spice Iced Coffee.

The cold foam creamer is made to add a pumpkin-spiced layer of foam to hot or cold coffee, while the iced coffee is ready to drink straight from the bottle. So yes, there are still plenty of ways to make your coffee taste like October.

Personally, I’m more interested in the apple situation.
